Overall, I have been enjoying bringing my dog to daycare each day. I spend a lot of money for her to go, and it is a bit annoying and stressful when staff does not show up and I am late to work because no one is there. Recently the staff has been very short and I almost feel like I am losing out on money. We are not being fully notified like I think we should be. Pet parents are having to call and ask why the dogs are crated. If you guys are short-staffed that badly, I think a courtesy message should go out to notify all of us who are paying for the service of our dog not being crated. I hope the staff gets better soon because I want to continue to bring my dog to daycare, but I am not going to waste my money.

The staff was all so caring and communicative, really looking to set up my nervous foster dog for success. They answered every question as if we were their only customers. And getting a complimentary salmon bowl on her first day was such an unexpected act of kindness, too!

I am sure the daycare is likely fine - but for boarding, this is not the facility for us.
There are no opportunities to actually go outside (or guaranteed to get to the outside area), and no options for walks. The dogs are to use the inside floor as a potty - my dog wouldn't do it. After 5 hours, when I brought him outside he peed for over 60 seconds and couldn't wait to get outside to do it. I don't want to risk him getting sick over being very well potty trained for outside.
The people are very nice and friendly and I never felt like my dog was in bad care - he just can't adapt to the inside potty.

The friendliness of staff. They genuinely care about our dogs and that gives me so much peace of mind. Also the webcam allows me to see my dog when I have a break at work to make sure he is getting along with all the other dogs and not distressed.

Everything but the entire staff is fantastic! From drop off to pick up everyone is so friendly and welcoming to our very energetic dog who loves going to Dogtopia and is always sad to leave.
Everyone from the owner, to the handlers to the spa staff are super kind, helpful and friendly. I feel very comfortable leaving my pup in their competent hands.

Dogtopia of Northville has the nicest and best staff. They are attentive, caring and just wonderful people. You can see right away that they love the dogs they care for and dogs certainly love them back!

Staff was excellent especially with our new puppy. They introduced him slowly and he came out very happy! Love the webcam so I can see how he does with the other dogs & staff.
It would be nice if the dogs being boarded had a room to stay in and not a crate. Also some outdoor space would be nice for them to run and play in on nice days. I hesitate boarding with you because I don’t want my dog to be indoors for 2 or 3 weeks!
