My dog loves going to daycare
There are several really great employees at Dogtopia Myrtle Ave and my dog loves being there. The location is convenient to my home, but I work in Manhattan and often have a hard time getting there for pick up in time. The last time for pick up on the app is 7pm and I often get a little attitude if I'm coming in right before then. I get everyone wants to go home, but then the employees need a buffer to be able to stay and clean up 30 mins past the last pick up time. Additional to this, I have to take my dog to another daycare further away who is open later (10p) when I have after work events. It would be nice if the hours could be extended in general.
Additionally (and trust me, I know they are "just" dogs), I liked last year when there were monthly events and activities and there was more social media and pics taken of them doing fun things. It's so minor in the scheme of things, but I loved little photo ops and dress up and all that. I think the person managing that maybe left and the fun has sort of been sucked out of it for me (and the dog haha).
Also, cleanliness: everyone cleans quickly from what I see in the brief moments I can check in on camera, but my dog comes home smelling horrible every time. The other place I take him for later nights he doesn't smell as bad coming out so I'm not sure what's going on there.
Lastly, the app isn't super smooth and the cameras often aren't working properly either through the web browser or the app.
Overall, I'm only coming here out of necessity and not because I love it. My dog is safe and has a great time and I have no issues recommending the place for that, but it's just not exceptional. It just seems in the last year things have gone downhill a bit and I'm a little sad about it.
I have been mischarged 6 times by Dogtopia. I am owed a $91 refund but have only received $12. I would be happier with the service if I wasn't so worried about apparent business management/organization issues.
The manager and assistants are friendly and are willing to pet my adored Siberian husky, Jacqui Sellers!
I love having the tv screen in the reception area where I could watch my dog on the screen. However, I can NEVER see her because she must be in a cage not in view in the big dogs' room. Please re-position the tv screen so I can see Jacqui!

I had requested that my dog be placed with the big dogs, due to her size and energy level. She remained in the ‘toy box’. Each time I viewed her, she was just standing there- seemed bored. She approached the handler twice for pets and was ignored.
Disappointed that there was no outside area.
The friendliness, the service, Juno loves it every time we go. I almost want to go too because everybody's so nice.
The feeling of family! The way they greet you and make you feel like your dog is the special one.
How they know each dog by name and know all about their personalities.
The warmth and concern they give to each pet parent, and their willingness to listen to anything you have to say!

Your employees clearly love and understand dogs
The staff is so friendly and Ginger literally runs into the building. We also love being able to peek with the cameras to see her during the day.
We like that there is Always availability, we like that they are not anti pitbull, we like that they take the time to make sure they are a good fit.
The people are friendly, with humans and dogs. It’s helpful that there are grooming services on sight. I like the activities offered for the dogs like water Wednesdays. I think Howler likes it too, it gives him an opportunity to socialize with other dogs.

my 2 dogs were boarded Saturday afternoon to Thursday afternoon. I called yesterday after picking them up to inquire about the multiple scratches on Cosmo’s face, and was told it would be looked into. I texted 3 photos to Phone number removed. I have had no response and I find this extremely disappointing. I don’t know that I would trust them in your care again.
The staff at Millard Dogtopia are so friendly, my dog loves it there. They treat Walter like he is their own dog. They do fun activities with the dogs too. I am always comfortable leaving him there!
Regarding Dog Boarding
1. Rather have dogs in separate room or areas rather than all created together at night
2. Did not like that no one is there 24/7... basically no one there at night
3. Can not drop off and pick up dogs 24/7 like others offer
4. Do not offer 1:1 time with dog to help with their stay
First of all, my dog Brody loves Dogtopia of Dublin. He literally leaps out of the car to get inside. He has become such a friendly dog because of all the socialization and he is exhausted when he comes home which we love. But most importantly, the staff at Dublin is top notch. They truly love their jobs and love dogs. It is so evident and we feel the love therefore it makes us feel so happy and secure that Brody is with them. Our dog just spent a week in boarding and they sent pictures and videos and took wonderful care of him. We love everything about Dogtopia of Dublin.

The team is kind and good with pups. I just don’t feel comfortable leaving my dog overnight if there aren’t any people in the building with them, and I also found it concerning that the video cameras are turned off over lunchtime.
Lovely, accommodating staff. The facility, however, is what it is in a crowded urban parking lot.
They make sure all the dogs are up to date on vaccines. They take the time to access the dogs to see where they will fit. They’re quick to answer questions about the program. So far it’s been a very good experience.
