In the toybox room, could you please adjust the camera angle to incorporate more of the top right (near the door) where a lof of the dogs seem to gather? That is also a crucial area to see how the dogs are treated when a trainer enters and leaves the room. The personnel seem excellent and friendly, however due to my dog getting kennel cough several times attending this facility I could not give a 10. Hopeully as time passes there are no more incidents and my future reviews will be a perfect 10.

The flexibility of the days—that you don’t have to schedule ahead of time. How FRIENDLY and kind the staff is. The place generally smells clean.
Dee Dee and her team are amazing! My dog is always so excited to see them and spend time there.
We like the services offered for daycare play time and socialization and even their nap time included we’ve been happy with the communication, as well.

Sawyer loves all the crew at Dogtopia and is well taken care of when he visits. Also, like that someone is there 24/7 when Sawyer boards.
My dog loves to go there! Staff are friendly and it's close to my home. On another note, I have noticed the odor in the lobby is increasing. There used to not be an odor
We’ve been bringing our dog to Dogtopia San Marcos since Jan. 2025. They have been absolutely awesome with taking care of him every week. We’ve boarded him twice for longer stays and he has absolutely loved it. The staff have always been great to us, and have always treated Pasha like his their own dog. We’ve come to know them very well and trust them with Pasha’s safety. Pasha is always excited to go to the back, and he definitely had a few staff favorites.
The Dogtopia staff is delightful and most importantly our dog loves coming to Dogtopia and is so excited to go every time.
The staff is all very friendly. They make sure the dogs are happy and having fun. My dog loves coming here :)

I love the fact that all of your professionals are so friendly and caring about each pet. Very friendly staff. They take very good care of the dogs and it’s such a positive vibe!
SUPER friendly staff. Every single one of them! They always seem to take care of my dog like he is their dog too. Very accommodating to any needs, we have or questions that come up about payment or boarding times/delays. I like that I can check in on my dog virtually when he is in daycare or boarding. The only thing I could even think of is if they offered training services in house. Would highly recommend the Short Pump Dogtopia.

The staff are always friendly and seem to genuinely love my dog. My dog LOVES coming to Dogtopia, sometimes even forgetting to finish his meal so he can get in the car and come play. Everyone is SOOOO positive.

My only complaint, being.my 1st experience boarding my 1 yr old puppy, is that this Location did.not have their Webcam functioning. I couldn't check in on my fur baby and when I asked the staff how my puppy did...their only response was "fine". Poor feedback, in my opinion. But...on a positive note.my dog came home visibly leaner and exhausted. I just hope she had FUN?!?
