Wheeler LOVES going to Dogtopia - Palm Harbor! The staff takes such great care of him and always makes sure he’s happily worn out by the end of the day—he usually falls asleep in the car on the ride home!
One of my favorite things is the adorable photos they sometimes text me. It’s such a treat to see Wheeler enjoying all the fun activities, especially anything that involves getting wet—his absolute favorite!

I did want to share some feedback regarding the recent "meet and greet" appointment. Unfortunately, there was a lack of clear communication about what the process would entail. This impacted my schedule, created time constraints, and required an additional, unplanned trip into town — a critical change to my day when I am currently the daily care provider to both of my aging parents.
Upon arrival, I was handed paperwork that I had already completed online, which felt redundant. Additionally, another staff member—without introducing themselves or greeting me—took the leash and led my dog away. I was unaware that he wouldn’t be returning with me at that time, which was unexpected and somewhat unsettling. I was also disappointed not to have the opportunity to meet the staff who would be directly responsible for his care.
I wanted to provide some honest feedback regarding the hygiene services. The pricing is notably higher than comparable providers, yet the grooming appeared incomplete—only parts of the midsection and face seemed brushed, while the tail fur felt neither washed nor brushed, and the ears did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly.
Regarding lack of enriching activities in rooms. I appreciate the intent behind the policies in place, and I understand that they are designed to support the well-being of the animals in your care. That said, I’ve found that my dog tends to receive more enriching and stimulating experiences at home or in other environments.
I hope this feedback is helpful, as I believe transparency and open communication are key to providing excellent care.

Have visited Dogtopia a few times for Doggy Day Care. My dog always comes home happy and tired. The staff is amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. My last visit was for grooming and Shannon did a great job on my Great Pyrenees. If you don't know what a Great Pyr is, they are gentle giants (mine being 100 pounds) and LOTS of hair.
I highly recommend Dogtopia for doggy day care, boarding and grooming!

I find that my dog enjoys going to Dogotopia. The staff is very professional and nice. My only complaint is when my dog comes home he smells like whatever solution is used to clean the floor. It is not a pleasant smell so I have to give him a bath.
Milo looks forward to his playdates everytime!
