The entire staff were so friendly and helpful. Everyone seemed to step in to help when help was needed for others, from the sales floor to the team prepping RV’s. The teamwork was phenomenal. They also went out of their way to get our RV prepped for departure on the same day we bought it. And we didn’t get that pushy sales vibe or feel like we were just another buyer. Honestly, we would probably end up coming back to Florida from NC if we ever decide to make another purchase.

I believe the service department has gotten more user friendly .. It appeared in the past ,maybe still is ,the service writers were on commission .. I was forced to go elsewhere for service as the estimates I thought were ridiculous along with diagnostic charges ..
We know what’s wrong , that’s why I am here.. Do you really need to diagnose and charge for most problems ?? Your rates are high enough that it should be absorbed without bringing it up ,,

General was the warranty servicing dealer after the selling dealer refused to do the repair - even after Thor specifically authorized the work.
I was greeted within 3 minutes of my appointment time. Efficient, polite, and completely responsive to the request for two warranty repairs.
Both repairs were completed within the time promised.
I normally like to offer suggestions for improvement, but all I can say is the work was perfect, the paperwork was efficiently done, and everything as well as I could dream.

I dealt with both General RV in Salisbury and Ft Pierce FL Both worked very well with me in getting my RV delivered from Fl to NC, Salisbury. Gabe Welch in Salisbury, NC did an excellent walk through with me on my travel trailer. He answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable with the camper. Upon taking the camper home, the tech involved and I discovered that the keys to the camper door sent from Fl did not work. He took the time to take apart the lock on the door to get the correct number/code key that was needed. I called the General RV office in Fl and they weren't able to locate any other keys so they called the RV Lock company with the correct key information to get the correct keys sent to me. Everyone did an excellent job.
checked the trailer over. The replaced ceiling panel rougher than the other panels. i think the panel was a wall panel not a ceiling panel. It was Rough like the wall panels not smooth like the ceiling panels.

Our purchase from General RV- Mt.Clemens was great! From our Sales Rep Carla "The Closer" who was wonderful and very helpful, to the Finance Dept Solomon & James, to the other team members Sierra who gave us a great inspection tour of our trailer. They made us feel very special! Last but not least I can't remember his name but he went over support information with us. "BigFoot" you know who you are! 🤣

Clean and organized showroom. We were able to take delivery within two days after the RV show closed. They were able to repair some minor issues with our new travel trailer while we were finishing the paperwork! At delivery, the operation of the travel trailer was explained to me and all my questions/concern were addressed.
My service tech Ollie was very helpful in guiding me through the warranty process and showing personal involvement from start to finish. He made sure that I was satisfied with the work performed and went the extra mile.
