I understand that you have to charge per area, you're using product/time. But I do find it mind boggling that when we request stairs and the connecting master room to be cleaned that we have to also request and pay additional money for the "landing" that connects the two. Plus when a master bedroom isn't cleared out and you're working around Cal-King and a dresser, that you can justify that extra cost for that "landing" that connects when you're still cleaning less square footage than if we had cleared the master bedroom out. You're tech is already there with the equipment, you're using less product than if a room was cleared out and yet it's an extra charge.
