No one showed up for the pre-arranged appointment nor even called to let us know that they would not be able to make the scheduled appointment. On a beautiful Fall day it is extremely disappointing that we were required to wait for someone from Std. Heating & Air to show up and then no show!

I think the technicians are very knowledgable. They are very friendly and efficient. they know their products. Standard heating is very accomodating and you can always talk to a live person not an answering machine.

Our past experiences were very good. The estimator this time did an inferior job to the other two contractors we met with. We especially had trouble with the York brand being presented. There was not enough information presented to persuade us away from the better known and more highly recommended brands. We ended up deciding between Trane and Bryant.

Robin gave a very thorough concept of what we needed. However, the proposal was in a format that I cannot open, so I have no idea what the proposal was. I have requested, and have not received, the proposal in hard copy via U.S. Mail, nor in a PDF format that I can read. I am still waiting to see the proposal.

I have been a Standard Heating & Air Conditioning customer for the past 25 years. In that time I have purchased two furnaces and two A/C units. The staff at Standard are cordial, knowledgeable and efficient. I believe that this company is fair, cost effective and would recommend them to any one looking for HVAC work

Service reps are pleasent, knowageable on equipment, and do a very good job of informing the home owner of the overall condition of their heating/cooling systems.

I always recommend Standard Heating & Air Conditioning, for the following reasons:
- Easy scheduling over the phone or email
- Great technicians. Always answer my questions and do a very thorough and careful job. Also warned me well in advance that I was increasingly coming to the point when my furnace would need to be replaced.
- Very happy with furnace installation
- Often will call ME to schedule my prepaid furnace tune-ups.

I called on Tuesday Sept. 11th and was told I would get a call back by 11:00 that day to get an estimate scheduled. I didn't get a call back until Friday the 14th. If I can't even schedule an appointment for an estimate, I don't want to TRY and schedule something to get the work done.

The guys that came were prompt, very friendly, very clean and neat and were done when they said they would be done. I have a daycare in the basement and the kids really hardly knew they were there. I would highly recommend Standard Heating and Air Conditioning!!

Your service people are well-trained, very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. This includes the maintenance/repair people and the scheduler.
My only complaint is that at the time of installation there wasn't more information given to the homeowner in plain non-technical English about what he/she needs to do to maintain the furnace. I learned about the necessity of putting bleach in the whatcha m' call-it box once a month, or keeping the fan on continuously, or changing the humidifier twice a year from the maintenance people, after a problem had been created. The manuals that come with the furnace are very technical. A page or two of ordinary plain English instructions for the home owner would have been helpful.
The only slight mix up was not scheduling the electrician for the day after the heater was installed. This was quickly resolved and the electrician came a day later. Thankfully I had someone at my house that week that enabled flexibility. If I would have taken the day or part of the day off work, it would have been a very challenging situation.
