Customer Service and going above and beyond my expectations
Our stay was excellent! We would highly recommend Baylor Scott and White Frisco to anyone! From pre-op to postpartum care, we felt taken care of and at ease! Sandy (in NICU), Ami (in nursery), our babies nursery nurse the last night, Aaron (lactation), Ashleigh (in postpartum), Tammy (in postpartum, the nurse for our last 2 nights), my nurse in pre-op and the OR and my nurses in recovery were particularly exceptional and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed! We also liked the new process of going in the day before for pre-op, that made the morning of a lot easier! We appreciate everyone who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable!
The nurses and doctors were extremely friendly and helpful and kind the whole time I was there.
Everyone very courageous.

Friendly staff
I have had several procedures done at Baylor Scott & White Frisco including several colonoscopies and a deviated septum surgery and the check in procedure which I always do in advance is simple and the people who do it are always polite and helpful in explaining everything that will take place. On the day of my procedures once again when I check in, someone will come out and escort my wife and I into the back where I change and get ready for the procedure. The nurses are great in explaining what part they will play with the doctors and what I should expect. After the procedure a nurse comes in to make sure that I am comfortable and to see if I need any assistance. Your whole staff is very professional, polite and courteous.
The Admissions area is open and allows other patients to hear potentially private info. I was dehydrated from the colonoscopy prep and had to fill out information standing up while feeling weak.
I had to wait 25 minutes to be taken back to ambulatory surgery. The anesthesiologist didn’t discuss ahead of time what to expect (he was busy). The staff were all very nice. Rebecca,RN made me feel more comfortable and was able to get my IV in the first time. Dr. BECKMAN was very pleasant and provided a copy of the colonoscopy report with a few post op recommendations. I never received discharge instructions or a phone number from Ambulatory Surgery to call them if I had any concerns. My throat was hoarse and I had difficulty swallowing when I got home and I thought I was possibly intubated. I was able to reach the anesthesiologist (he left a message the night before the procedure) and he informed me that I was on a 100% nonrebreather mask and was not intubated. I feel like communication from staff and post op instructions could have been better.
Good communication
Doctors who really care & take care of what was needed.

So kind, helpful and understanding.
