The process was fine until post-op. We felt as though the staff was unkind in rushing me through discharge to maybe get me out faster?
Maybe they needed my bed???? I was fairly nauseous and let them know. On the nurse transfer, one said: “I just pumped her full of Zofran”. They got me sprite and crackers. When I said I was still really sick, the nurse offered me a ginger ale and gave me a vomit bag to go. I held it together but threw up as soon as I got home.

The night after, I found that I was still stained ALL over my torso with iodine & still had 4 Electrode stickers ( not sure if that’s what they’re called) stuck on. Maybe that’s not something that’s taken care of after an operation, but it seems like at least it was an oversight, since I wasn’t allowed to bathe for 24 hours.

I had both of my children at Baylor, so it is close to my heart. I waited for my procedure so I could have it at Baylor. The tail end of my visit was a little disappointing.

Friendly and attentive staff

My entire time there through labor and delivery every nurse I had was attentive, informative, and overall a huge help, as I’m a first time mom. They answered any and all questions I had. They made our stay light and easy!!

We are thankful for the excellent labor and delivery care provided. The staff was supportive and attentive during the delivery process, which made us feel well cared for.

However, we felt that the postpartum and baby care could be improved. The guidance and support after delivery, especially around newborn care and recovery, seemed more average compared to the delivery experience.

Overall, we appreciate the efforts of the team and hope the hospital can enhance postpartum and baby care to match the high standard of labor and delivery services.

Make sure to call the patient ahead of the surgery date so they know pre-op procedures and time to arrive at the facility.

I read reviews where they don’t treat all the patients fair. I told the doctor my condition and symptoms and medical history and was not given a blood draw to check my levels or even an IV I’m sure I have an infection he was very dismissive and acted like I was faking why would I fake feeling ill at my age. I feel if you don’t look rich staff at this hospital treats you bad. I even waved at the young lady at the desk near the exit and she just looked at me like she was insulted I waved at her. Very unfriendly snobbish staff

Attentive staff starting at the reception. Barely wait time. Doctor and nurse provided all the information in a simple way and let me ask questions I had.

Dr.’s bedside manner was horrible

The whole entire staff from the security guards to the nurses, to the doctors, to the techs, to the dining room service, to the people that maintained the rooms clean! GREATLY appreciate how everyone made our hospital stay smooth! Very courteous and friendly environment! Thank you!

I saw Dr. Charles Dryden Jr. I told him I had RVR AFIB and needed to know if I had COVID or the Flu. He practically scolded me for not getting a test at CVS and testing myself. He never took out his stethoscope, never listened to my heart or my lungs. He walked in with a big smile laughing and said “congratulations you have COVID!” He thought it was funny that a high risk heart patient had COVID. He did not do a chest x ray, blood work, or give me a prescription to keep me from getting pneumonia. When I asked how to treat it, he told me to take Motrin or Advil and a decongestant. I told him I was on blood thinners and could not take anything except Tylenol. He then changed the treatment to Tylenol.

My doctor told me NEVER to go to that ER and sent me to Presbyterian Plano where I received appropriate care.

I found Dr. Dryden to be uncaring and negligent. He seemed to get pleasure from my illness.

Organized, efficient, friendly

Every caregiver showed professionalism, kindness and most importantly-compassion. Thank you for taking such good care of me during my stay.
