The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and nice

My labor and delivery nurse Rachel was amazing! In fact, all my L&D nurses were outstanding. The benefit of delivering at this hospital was definitely the L&D team. As far as nursery staff goes, Misti was my favorite. She truly helped me more than she realizes and I genuinely hope she gets awarded in some way for the great work she does. I truly trusted her with my newborns care and learned so much from her in the couple days that I was there. There was not another nurse that I would give my baby to in order to take a nap in recovery except for her! Loved her!!! I was thankful for lactation support; however, I would caution them on giving out tongue tie diagnoses. I was told my son had a tongue tie and to get it done by Lonestar Dentist. After $1,000 paid to get it done, my pediatrician said that evidence was lacking for tongue ties and he didn’t necessarily need it as it was not severe enough to warrant it done. My pediatrician also said he does them in office, in which I would’ve SO much rather he had done it than Lonestar. I wish lactation would leave that up to the pediatricians (doctorate degrees going based on evidence based practice) and not lead me as a new mom into something unnecessary.

Everyone that I encountered, from the security guard who directed me where to go, to the ER check in staff, nurse Penny, the other medical assistants (I don't remember their names), and doctor Admire were all friendly and professional, and I was seen quickly. I may not have shown it, but I was scared, and the treatment I received put me at ease and made me feel very well cared for. I also appreciated the follow up call the next day.

We loved our provider Dr Holt, the nurses, the clean rooms, and the food was good too. The speed of everything during my delivery was great too.
