In deciding to buy a new road bicycle (May 2025) from West Point Cycles, I took my guide from a time I walked into the WP shop, in 2024. I'd shown up with a broken mountain bike, purchased at a competitor's shop. Even so, West Point mechanics made room in a busy day, to fix my bike, so that I didn't have to cancel a ride.
This week, in West Point Cycles, looking at a new Trek AL4, I had a number of technical questions on gearing. One of the mechanics, obviously busy, stepped away from what he was doing, to spend twenty minutes with me, counting sprocket teeth and looking at aftermarket options.
Made by decision to purchase the bike here pretty easy. The affordable price, and reputation of Trek bicycles didn't hurt. But it was the helpful service that made me decide to buy..

I've received friendly and knowledgable service in person and over the phone and, when I bought a bottom bracket a while ago, the mechanic removed my old one right away, even though it was right before closing. I hated to ask, but it saved me having to buy a tool, or wait a day. Much appreciated!

The staff at the West Point Cycles Langley location helped my girlfriend and I decide on new bikes. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly and even let us test ride several models until we were set on the right one.
I’ve been in the market for a trek bike forever. Everyone at West Point Cycles from Langley to Main Street to Kerrisdale have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. I never felt I was being upsold or pressured into extra stuff. The discount on accessories after a bike purchase is huge.
