I bought my Trek FX there in 2017. The service and entire staff has always been very helpful and friendly. I recommend I Matrin whenever anyone asks where to go for bikes, service or accessories.
Everyone at Helen's is super helpful. Edgar is the best mechanic and I highly recommend Helen's for any of your cycling needs.

When I checked in the tech told me he wouldn't charge me for labor on the bar wraps. I got home and realized I had been charged $15. It's not a lot of money, but I was hoping that would have been left in the notes and off my receipt.

I don't know all of their names (just Joshua Keppler), but I had EXCELLENT help from the staff. And, I really needed a lot of help. Due to supply shortages, I had to drive in from Santa Barbara to get my new bike. I had a TON of questions about the bike and changed my mind back and forth a few times on what size he should build. Joshua was super patient and helpful in the days leading up to my trip, offering as much help as I needed. Then, when I was there, I was helped by another sales person that was equally helpful. And, a guy in the repair section of the shop was also extremely patient and helpful, coming out to my van to help with an issue where I needed to lower the handle bars to fit it in the cargo space of my van. I don't know where you find such great people, but it certainly makes your shop absolutely top quality.

The best, most efficient, and also nicest repair team I've found. They really listen and they care about my bike AND my time, always communicating and keeping my bike for the shortest possible time while also being really thorough. I mean, just the best!
The guy that helped me yesterday was the nicest customer service rep ever. Totally attentive, explained everything, gave me correct estimate of time the work would be finished, cleaned up my bike a little bit and did it all with a sweet smile. This guy is good peeps. I wish I had gotten his name to tell you here. 10 out of 10.
