Nice staff, quick turnaround
you failed to install the handlebar cushions that were selected. you installed something else completely different and with no support. no one called me to discuss or get approval and then without me knowing, you emailed me the repair was completed and to come get my bike or face future storage charges. i had to drive all the way there and then discover your mistake. fortunately they were swapped out for other ones, although not matching-- and it took about 10-15 minutes and some modifications (which I hope don't fail). I don't know if they will stay on and not slip--we will see, but it wasn't up to the technician to decide that I didn't need the selected handlebar cushion/support replacements (which were the same as the old ones which had become sticky and needed replacement) and instead to replace with simple cylander ones without the support--completely different... just shows poor judgment. could have been worse, but left a bad taste for sure......
The mechanics at Helen's always help me out when I drop in on the way back from a ride. They've done simple minor adjustments right away for me for years.

Egar and Daniel area always reliable and efficient on repairs and recommendations. Always a pleasure to visit the shop, even if I don't find exactly what I want. They can always get it in a few days. It just makes sense these days to not try to keep everything in stock. Always helpful!
Nice stretch of Broadway, great parking and nice peaceful environment. Great selection... people were all excellent. Wish I'd gone there before ordering things online from other places that I now need to deal with returning. Best store of it's kind I've seen in LA.

There were a few hitches during my appointment. First, he couldn't find the key for the Thule seat, even though he had opened the box himself. Then, after he installed the handlebar mirror, he failed to notice that the mirror was chipped. When we installed a new mirror that worked better for me, he did not finish tightening the mirror onto the handlebars. It flopped around my entire ride home. But he was very nice and helpful throughout the entire appointment!
