He was friendly and patient through the whole buying process of my first expensive bike. . I will be recommending him specifically for anyone buying a high end bike from you guys.
I had an excellent experience with Helen’s Cycles Santa Monica from start to finish. The service, attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of the equipment were all outstanding. Everything was arranged very easily, and the entire rental process was smooth and stress-free. The bike was in fantastic condition, and the selection they offer is impressive for riders of all experience levels, from casual cyclists to more serious riders. Everyone I dealt with was helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend Helen’s Cycles and would not hesitate to use them again.

I went in early with my Trek FX 6 that I purchased at Helens 3-4 years ago. The bike had a rear tire leaking air and disc brakes that were very noisy. I left 10 minutes later with a repaired bike. Can't ask for better service than that. Wasn't able to get the mechanics on the phone for a quick question later in the day though.
Phone is always answered promptly, always transferred to requested department quickly. Quickly, competently, and reliably serviced by Erik Rodas.

Everyone there is great. I called the Manhattan beach store, which was friendly, and the Santa Monica store went even further to call the warehouse to get the bike I wanted.
The personalized service at Helen’s is the best.
I ordered an expensive battery from them and didn't hear anything so I emailed them and they apologized for missing the order and sent it out right away, and even threw in a t-shirt and a pair of socks! That's great customer service.

I brought my bike in for an estimate to see if it was worth fixing after a crash or if I should buy another bike on marketplace. I'd noticed several major things wrong with it, including a bent fork, bent axle in the alfine 11 internal gear hub, headset now has a clunk in it, etc. None of those faults were noticed and I got an estimate for $608 ... but that didn't include rebuilding the front wheel with double butted spokes, and the rim that was quoted was inappropriate, it was an offset 30mm wide rim ... for the front rim. I tried emailing Email address removed the reply-to address for the email fromt he quote to ask about all my concerns and I heard nothingi back. After three or four days I then sent an email to Email address removed and got an out of office autoreply from that address. I figured I'd wait. A couple days later I got a call from the shop telling me to authorize the work or come pick up the bike. Noone had read any email. I came and picked up the bike. A few days after that I got a call from the owner, on a Sunday even. But this shop doesn't seem to understand the concept of email. If someone emails you, that probably means they want an email response. Not a phone call a week later.

Helen's carries top of the line product, from bicycles to accessories and clothing. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They go out of their way to see that the customer is well taken care of. I never hesitate to go their for all my cycling needs and service on my bicycle.

Adam is the man. Can't recommend Helen's higher. I was in town for the weekend and wanted a bike for a long ride. Adam got me set up with one of their supersix evos, helped review my route, told me where I can stop for water, and even gave me a number to call in case I found myself in a pinch. Will definitely choose Helen's again for a rental next time I'm in LA.
