Always consistent with the service on my bike, very honest and always on time.
I have stopped in for a few small parts from time to time. Staff has been helpful, and polite. Someone has always taken the time to help me locate what I need.

Unnecessarily changed tires (my existing ones had plenty of tread and were already tubeless ready) and then installed mismatching valves (one Schreader and one presta). I tried to call about it and was told it’s normal to do this and not to worry about it. I’ve gotten 4 outside opinions and nobody agrees with that practice.
There isn't a bike shop in the history of bike shops that cares more about their customers than Helen's.

Great service from the team at Helen’s Cycles in Santa Monica. Solved a problem with a snapped bolt in super quick time and was great value. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!
I drive 40 miles, past at least four other bike shops, to deliver my bicycles to Helen's Bicycles when I have a mechanical problem or for periodic maintenance checkups. In my opinion, it is possibly the best bicycle shop in all of Los Angeles. I trust their mechanics without question and they have never disappointed me. I am almost eighty years old and have been bicycling since I was ten years old. Simply put, bicycling has been a big part of my life for almost 70 years. I ride my bicycles hard and for the last thirty years the mechanics, sales people and management at Helen's Bicycles have always had my back.

The Workers & Helpers …. Great Service to..
Service department is great. They know what they are doing, and they do their best to quickly complete the work. Sales people are knowledgeable and patient. Unfortunately their efforts are sometimes hampered by inadequate stock - especially at the high end - to enable customers to test ride different frames. In those events, the sales people try to find close proxies, but that doesn't give the customer the true feel for the he wants to test.
