Nice people and I took care of my repair
Leo deeply understands customer service. This is a very good bike shop with a wonderful repair department. They do what they say and have always followed through. Reasonably priced too.
Josh was wondeful! Very knowledgeable, helpful and patient! He fitted me with a nine that meets my needs and lifestyle and made sure it was ride-ready when I left.
In addition, he offered sage advice about seating, height, sizing, etc.

Great service and knowledge of products.
After quoting a price for service the customer should be contacted if the charges are going to be increased, and thus exceed the original quote. In my opinion it is the best way to manage the customer's expectations with respect to charges for service.
Bought 2 of a particular product only to later discover they were not the same...returned the incorrect one and presently waiting for the correct one to come into stock.
That was one thing.....the other thing was the return/order process seemed to be unnecessarily complicated.
I'll still continue shopping at Helens but since you asked, I'm telling you....!!

What a fantastic bike shop!!! I arrived when the shop was re-opening after 1/2 hour lunch. An employee welcomed me in, even though there were a couple of folks milling and waiting to enter. I was immediately assisted by another employee, but had come to see Monty. Monty connected right after that and took it from there. I explained a little about my shopping journey, I was interested in an eBike. He began to bring out a selection of bikes for me to try to fit my needs. The store is situated on a street with a cul de sac, which is key. You can test the bikes very safely on the cul de sac, and even hit the bike path on Broadway if you wish. This allowed me to safely and robustly test the bikes I was interested in. (This is in contrast to some other bike shops, it is very hard to know if you like a bike if you cannot safely test it.) Monty was an expert at the bikes and knew intuitively which ones to offer. I felt like I had a solid selection to try and I knew what I wanted by the time I had tested about five bikes. Monty was kind and patient. I never felt rushed, even though the shop was very busy (again, in contrast to other bike shops I had visited). There was no pressure to purchase a bike or any paraphernalia for the bike. I left with my dream bike and my first ride near home the next day was fantastic!!! I love my bike! Helen’s is THE BEST! I would highly recommend to anyone, and have already done so to friends.
Generally service is great!! Have had a couple interactions that were not pleasant - an overall superior attitude (my opinion) when trying to ask questions.
The impressive service that I received from Super Mario was beyond my expectations. He took the time to talk about each bike that I was interested in and also let me test ride them to explore my options. He never hesitated to get a bike off the rack, put pedals on the bikes, and inflate the tires. That was a lot of work for him to do not even knowing if I would purchase a bike! But in the end, it all worked out and I'm satisfied.
The bike seems great and the service was fantastic. Can’t wait to ride the bike and enjoy it all! Thanks to Cameron and Jay for the great support.
