Explain the various aspects of the bike. Don’t gloss over the finer points.
Don’t rush a customer to make your commission.
Inspect the bike before you let a customer ride off. The chain of my bike came off the *first* day because the shop didn’t adequately inspect it.
Don’t make things up to cover for inadequate work. The chain didn’t come off because “bikes take time to break in.” It came off because they didn’t take the time to ensure quality.

Customers service is great and staff know a lot about bikes. I have bought a bike and many components and apparel there before and their service dept is also very friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes I go on just to ask their recommendation or question and there is no pressure to buy anything, they just like to help customers and talk shop too.
