I've been to them all, and Folsom Bike is the BEST Trek dealer in the greater Sacramento area. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, good selection of both cycling accessories and clothing, and an atmosphere and vibe that has an unexplainable but very high "X-factor".
I live in downtown Sacramento, and it's well worth the 30-minute drive to get to Folsom Bike anytime I need cycling stuff or to consult with their experts about what products will work best for my bike needs.
What Starbucks did for coffee shops, what local craft breweries did for beer, Folsom Bike is doing for cycling enthusiasts and casual bike riders. I'm rooting for these guys - the world needs more down-to-earth, hometown, brick-and-motor shops where you can develop ongoing, trustworthy, business relationships with local vendors.
Screw Amazon. Really, can you name anyone - ANYone, you've built a business relationship with at flippin' Amazon? Of course not. That's not what they sell. But it IS what you, what WE, should be buying - and supporting.

Your employees were very helpful; as usual. I like to shop locally and having a good bike shop near by is great.
Separately, I've only moved down to this area in the last few months; so, maybe this normally doesn't apply. But; a couple of months ago I needed to get my daughter a helmet; your stock in store that was appropriate was maybe 1 or 1.5 (get by with it for one of them). In the fall I needed a new floor pump. I bought a Giant from you, good pump. My issue was that your entire stock in the store was that single pump. That is, I cleaned out the store of floor pumps by buying that single pump and this was not yet the holiday season. Now that things are getting better, maybe that would change.
The person who helped me at the store was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It really made it a pleasant shopping experience.

I am very happy that they remember me and treat my bikes with respect. I recently brought my bike in and of course it didn’t mechanically misbehave at first inspection. The mechanics took my bike for 3 combined rides of almost 20 miles and finally figured the problem out. Submitted a warranty claim and got my bike running until the new part comes in.

The service you offered for my needs was great I needed something simple fix on my bike and customer service was awesome. You have great selection of products but got to work on pricing as you know with the options the internet offers and the pricing options the internet was available its not a piling to buy from you.
This place was amazing! I was able to call and order my bike over the phone and pick it up the next day. They helped me pick out accessories I needed and a helmet and installed everything right there. Gave me tips about my new bike and trails I could try out right then. The icing on the cake was the surprise thank you card and t shirt I got a few weeks later. Thank you Folsom bike, definitely worth the drive from Reno to do business with you!
