I ordered a set of pedals and cleats in the store a few weeks back. This initial interaction was very pleasant. When the product was delivered to the store, I was informed via email.
I picked it up and tried to assemble it. The pedals worked well. Attaching the cleats to the shoes was similar to what I had done in the past, because it is an updated version of the cleats I had before. However, I just can't get them to click onto the pedal. I have tried a lot of different things, but it just doesn't work. I have used the same kind of pedal/cleats system for 20+ years, so I do think I know how they work to get in and out off. I sent an email to the store (I replied to the email I had received from the store when they informed me that they received the pedal I ordered) to explain how I could get this to work. Unfortunately I this was 3 days ago and I still haven't heard any reply. I would have just hoped that I will get at least a short email back to let me know that they received my email and that they are trying to find out what to do next. I just believe a lot in fast and efficient communication as part of a good customer experience. But that's exactly what I am missing.

I've posted a review already on Google but I will state again that I can't say enough about Chain Reaction. I bought my first road bike from them years ago and now, am working with them to get the right bike for me now. The customer service remains a 10 because they really want to find the correct bike & fit for you and not just sell you a bike. Love that it's a family business that has sustained over the year, probably because of the mission they have to really provide the best customer service in town.
Friendly staff, competent shop. My preferred place to bring my bike for service.
