Great knowledge and service
ChainReaction's staff (family business) is the most friendly, knowledgeable and helpful of any retail establishment I've ever shopped at. Their store is well stocked with most anything and everything you'll need. And if they need to, they'll special order what it is you need. It's always a great experience walking into that shop.
Products and service are of top quality. They respond to all of your questions and concerns and offer great advice on future maintenance or products. Their goal is to get you on your bike as fast as possible, at the least possible cost.

Personalized service, decades of bicycle knowledge, sales, maintenance and service of Trek bikes. I’ve known and patronized this family owned Peninsula bike shop since the mid 1980’s. Their bike maintenance and repair shop has been second to none for as long as I’ve known them. They take pride in all they do.
Dropped in by the shop because of the large inventory of size small frames and the gearing that caters to the hilly terrain on the Bay Area. I was working with Becky and she was very knowledgeable and polite. She even offered to swap out components to my preferred choices. I will be going back to this shop despite the longer drive.

Great service very nice people always very helpful. I had a part that broke on my wife’s bike which was less than a year old and they fixed it at no cost so they also stand by what they sale and do the right thing for their customers. We love coming to see Mike and his son Kevin, as we have done for many years. They are kind, efficient and friendly. Recently we expected to wait a week for my bike’s repairs and yet it was available the next day!
They have an incredible collection of bikes and accessories, especially now where they have expanded into their beautiful new space. We’d never consider taking our bikes anywhere else, though there are many bike shops near where we live in Palo Alto.
