My husband and I have been buying bikes from Chain Reaction for decades. We love our bikes, but we love even more having a Local Bike Shop (even though it’s not quite as local to us anymore) where we know the people and they know us. The service that Steve and Mike and the rest of the crew provide is top notch! Also the wealth of cycling/bike knowledge can’t be beat. You sell quality products. I've enjoyed working with everyone I have interacted with at your business. Becky took the time to make sure my bicycle fits me just right and it's the first time I have felt comfortable while riding a bike. You have a fabulous team.
Friendly efficient service.
Kevin was knowledgeable about the Trek Domane + bike I was interested in and quickly showed me the size I thought I needed was not appropriate and got me on the better size. He quickly recognized that was accustomed to the Shimano shifters and quickly got me up to speed on the Sram shifter. When I returned the next day to buy the bike, Becky took care of further questions and installed pedals, pump, cages and saddle bag. All the features, such as operating the controller, removing wheels, installing brake pad spacers and removing and installing the battery were demonstrated for me. They certainly understand their products and listened to what I was looking for in a bike. I've ridden for over 60 years, so I know bit about bikes (even if it is outdated). They were able to talk with me at the appropriate level, neither condescending nor too techy.
I did my first significant ride yesterday, with the ECO boost level. At this setting you still need to work, but the climbs are not so painfully slow. I was pleased to see that after a 12 mile ride the predicted range was 91 miles! I haven't ridden that far in decades, but now I will certainly ride faster and longer than before.
The store is clean and well lit. The team of Chain Reaction are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Glad I chose to buy my Trek Dual Sport 3 here.
