The mechanics are great.
Super friendly, attentive, kind staff. Always have a smile on their face. Most importantly, they are actually great mechanics and will help you out without gouging. Highly recommend.
Very pricey.
It's a family friendly kinda vibe, with a thorough knowledge of the bicycle industry and all its products. Definitely the best place to go to as entry level cyclists to expert level cyclists.
friendly but price transparency would be good
the employees are very willing to help and answer questions!
Mechanic Mike is great.

Quick and thoughtful help.
Pancha was amazing!! Best visit to a bike shop ever. Thank you Pancha!
Friendly. Knowledgeable. So fast!
We were able to shop for both our bicycles there - the service is great and the people that work there are very helpful. There's a nice selection of bikes and the prices are reasonable.
Helpful and friendly service.
Staff is very knowledgeable and work always done professionally and timely.
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic cutomer service
I appreciate that staff at this store are enthusiastic about biking, and are so pleasant and will often tighten a bolt or make simple changes to your bike without charging you. I never feel that I am being upsold, I feel that staff really are there to help me get safely back on my bike.
Easy, fast, effective, and friendly!
I always use Bicycle Habitat for all my bike maintenance and repairs. Working with them is always quick and easy. It's not always the cheapest, but you get what you pay for - the highest quality service and parts. You can't go wrong with Bicycle Habitat!
John at the Park Slope location helped me with my first ever purchase of a bike. He was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful as I test rode and purchased the bike, and also helped me to find the right accessories to go with it. I am a relatively inexperienced bike-rider and asked a lot of beginner questions. He made me feel at ease and not silly for not knowing more about bikes. He made adjustments to the bike as needed and helped me to make it my own. I needed as lightweight a steel frame bike as possible because I have to carry it up a few flights of stairs every day, and I was able to get exactly that. I couldn't be happier with my new bike.
Your staff & mechanics expertly diagnosed & fixed a clicking sound on my bike that was driving me bonkers. I use my bicycle to commute & your mechanic fixed the problem the same day which kept me rolling to work the very next day♡
Super friendly, trustworthy and helpful employees.
It's just perfect!
Turn over and service are fast and super dependable. I boast about Bicycle Habitat on my internet platforms, publications and blogs.
Simple and quick service on my crank.. Can’t tell you how much smoother it is! Eric did a great job. As usual, they never oversell you.
The functionality and the speed it was delivered to the store after ordering. Shout out to Taylor and Chad in the Prospect Heights store for their knowledge, friendliness and professionalism.

All of your mechanics are fantastic and phenomenally helpful.
i appreciate their willingness to really explain what is happening.
Some of your sales guys are... more like sales guys! More self-interested.
I prefer to do my purchasing with the guidance of the mechanics. They feel more trustworthy.
I was only buying a rear light, but the sales staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable and spent a fair amount of time helping me
Everyone was great and professional and easy to work with!

Your service is shoddy. The two times I’ve had minor repairs there, the work was not inspected properly. Basic things like over inflating the tire, which popped two blocks after I left. The second time the mechanic did not tighten the quick release, and my wheel was loose. Had I not checked it would have come off while riding. These are basic errors that could have been avoided if you paid more attention.
