The great customer service and knowledge about products sold was what I liked most. My friend and I came in just to get me a helmet and I received some great service from Chad that really turned my day around. I’ve always had a hard time with helmets because of the thickness and length of my hair and he not only found something for me but provided options which I appreciated. He was also very kind and down to earth. So was the other guy but I forgot (maybe didn’t hear his name)
Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Repairs were priced right and done very well.
The annual tune-up package was superb! My bike looks and feels brand new again. Very pleased with the service!

The nicest, most patient people! I can’t say enough good things about how kind and knowledgeable everyone was. My husband and I love our new bikes and he tried 4 before making a decision!
They put all my nerdy gadgets on my bike and had great advice with everything. I would go back in a minute.
I went there looking for a helmet that would fit my afro and I was helped by the (I believe blond) white guy with the clear frame glasses. Upon him showing me the helmets, he remarked that they were the "...biggest I had ever seen." While this seems to an innocuous comment, I would argue that this is a textbook micro-aggression. There is an implicit otherization in this statement, e.g. "you are different, out of place in this store and I have to remark upon it." The statement makes bare the already known reality of black cyclist that we are a small minority in the biking community and are often met with condescension and exclusion by cyclists.
To put it simply, I would love if I could buy a helmet that fits my needs without some white dude giving his two cents that are completely unhelpful to the end goal of me making a purchase.
Knowledgeable sales staff
Staff was patient with talking me through what my needs are in a bicycle and what current options might meet that, helpful at setting up test rides, not pushy when I wasn't ready to make a decision yet and needed to sleep on it for a few days.
It was my first time buying a bike, as I needed one to commute to work. Got the best advice from Noah, very thoughtful and patient and explained everything I needed to know. I’m so glad I went to Bicycle Habitat for that purchase!

So much more expensive than my old bike shop! Then again they went out of business so maybe they were undercharging. ;)
