My bike was damaged while parked at my workplace by equipment being driven by another employee. It required several different repairs to the rim, tire, rear derailleur, etc. At the same time, I had some other work done unrelated to the accident. The person at the store took the time to explain everything that had to be done and to make two separate receipts so that the accident damage could be reimbursed, and even included a note on the receipt for my employer explaining the damage and why each element of the work and parts replacement was required. It was all done with friendly courtesy, and the work was completed by the next day!

Felt like I was looked down on for not knowing as much about bikes as the guy there. A little more humility and kindness would be nice. But otherwise was friendly and very helpful.

I brought in my bike to have the rear fender realigned. It turned out the fender had come unplugged from one of its sockets (something that happens with some frequency, and I overlooked before bringing it in). This was figured out while I stood in the doorway; while I'd understand your shop "having" to charge me the $5 fee to even take a look, I was charged an additional $15 for this!! I also asked to have my headset tightened, which I was charged $25 (!!!!!) for. Most shops have done this for nothing when I'm paying for some other service. While I understand any bike shop's need to survive, this is the WORST way to create customer loyalty.
I feel grossly overcharged and nickel & dimed.

I’m very appreciative of Adam’s thoroughness when fixing and explaining issues related to my bike. I never feel talked down to and I always leave the store learning something new. Chad is also incredibly helpful and a joy to chat with. The team at the Vanderbilt location is the primary reason that I frequent this bike shop even if it’s out of my way compared to others.

Had bike serviced, new cassette with a lower gear in the back, inspected crank for shimano recall and new chain and bars wrapped. Done very timely, bike running great. Great experiece, as always.
