Good customer service
overall good job, fast, professional, etc. One issue was the hood had some sort of oil all under the rubber cover. The rubber cover also was not put on properly but this is rather insignificant. Overall likely to come back or recommend

The bike repair workers continue to impress me here. They are amazingly communicative, making sure you completely understand what's wrong with your bike so that you understand what you need to pay them to do. Even a bike noob like me could understand the way they were explaining things.

My shopping experience at the Bicycle Habitat store located in Brooklyn, N.Y. was a reminder that the convenience of online can deprive you of a memorable in person shopping experience. My family recently purchased a Yuba Kombi E5 from this store and thanks to the cycling professional employed there named Libby, we couldn't be more than happy with our purchase. Libby walked us through our entire transaction lending her expertise and professionalism. She provided updates, alternative solutions, and made on the spot adjustments as necessary. My wife absolutely loves her Yuba. More so because of how comfortable Libby made the whole experience. It was one of those wonderful New York moments. A+++ for Bicycle Habitat in Brooklyn.

Unlike another local bike shop, BH had a good selection of helmets with the MIPS tech built in.
always friendly, helpful. Had a chain replacement and air in tires after winter storage at noon after walking my bike to work that morning. At 649 i left work and a tire was flat. BH mechanic who saw me that afternoon quickly got me a new tube installed and ready for the ride home even though it was just before close. im a jerk for not remembering his name :)

It was very expensive. And after the work was done I still had to adjust my derailleur, because the bike kept popping out of gear. Also the nuts and caps were left off of the inner tube valves.
I had a very good experience with the salesperson at Bicycle Habitat. The salesperson recommended a bicycle that will fit my needs. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and helpful with the items you carry in the store.
I would highly recommend Bicycle Habitat to get you the right bike for you and of course they are quality bicycles. Since their Bicycles they carry are well made.
I totally understand that an LBS needs to charge more than an online retailer and it was great that you had the parts I wanted in stock, but this purchase was $165 whereas the exact same stuff is available online for $97. That a very large premium.
