Matt was incredible! I am very new to biking, and he took the time to answer all my questions; he was incredibly patient and made me feel very comfortable. He did a bike fit and tuned up my bike to ensure it was properly adjusted to fit me perfectly. I chose this bike store because of the fantastic reviews I found online, and my experience went above and beyond what I was expecting! He even kept my bike overnight to fix some issues from the manufacturer and then stayed after hours the next day to let me pick it up since I didn't have time during store hours to come.

Staff is so attentive. Answered all my questions. Let me try two different stem extenders till I got the right fit for my bike. I got mine next bike at your shop.

What could we do to improve?

Not much actually, esp in an urban sales location. The store is packed with both new and repair bikes and the atmosphere is less than "attractive." But that said: the whole reason I went is you had a bike I wanted (Specialized Sirrus X 5.0 in blue, not orange), the sale went perfectly, the bike was assembled next day, and the sales staff cordially offered accessories without too much oversell. I had perhaps the best quicky saddle height adjustment ever and after swapping the pedals the next day, it feels right!

So from a pure buyers perspective, it is a 10.
From a walk-in perspective? My recommendation -- and I am NOT a professional in this space! -- is differentiate the sales floor from the repair floor.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

(1) BH tuned up my bike in December and I didn't ride it a whole lot between then and April, but when I brought my bike in recently there were a whole lot of things wrong with the bike. Was the tune up in December incomplete and, if so, why?

(2) I specifically stated that I needed my bike back before 6pm on Monday. It was not ready when I called at little before 6 on Monday and I never got a call that it was ready.

Salesman was very helpful. Store was cluttered which made looking at options for a new bike a little difficult - understandable why this is the case currently with increased bike demand coupled with dealing with the pandemic but there may be ways to improve the in-store experience.

I try not to judge but your attitude about COVID is annoying. Get over it. Don't make your clients wait outside. No other bike shop does that. I only went because you were the only shop open on Easter.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Brought bike in for double brake adjust ($43) front was adjusted rear was looked at but pinch bolt was not tightened to hold the cable in place . Mid ride cable popped and pinchbolt flew off. Had to find replacement pinch bolt for rear brake at another bike shop. Tech was friendly and understanding and i was able to get a refund from BH

Bicycle habitat is simply amazing. This is my second bike in 2year and I don’t see myself getting a bike from anywhere else. The service is amazing. They take the time out to make sure you are comfortable with your purchase. The walkthrough process of what it is you’re trying to get is amazing also. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get a bike. What could we do to improve?

I had to ask to have the air in my tires inflated to 100 pounds when I picked up the bike. The employee taking care of me gladly did this for me on the spot and good thing, too, because the tires were at 75 and 80 lbs, respectively. I would like Bicycle Habitat to ask or better yet, tell the customer that you thought of that already and had the tires properly inflated upon pickup.
