The staff at the Park Slope, Brooklyn store is approachable and incredibly helpful. I knew which Trek bike I was interested in but they still had me look at a few others just to be sure. They asked me questions about different aspects of the bike to be sure I was buying the right bike for me. They didn’t have the size bike I needed in stock so they ordered it for me while I was standing there.
The bike came into the store about a week later and they built it immediately. When I went to pick it up, they made sure I had the seat at the correct height. We discussed accessories and they helped me prioritize (water bottle holder, pin locks for wheels, lock, bell). They added the water bottle holder and pin locks immediately.
I was impressed with the knowledge of the staff and their commitment to customer service.
Izzy is super nice and helpful every time I come around. I get advice for me that isn't about just getting money out of me. Great people!
Phone me before building the bike to ask if I want add-ons — a proper saddle, peddles, grips, fenders etc — not when I come to pick up the bike. As you'd expect, I'm unwilling to wait to have them installed when I'm excited about riding my new bike out of the store.
Great shop, service, attention to detail.
I will definitely be returning. My bike technician was knowledgable, friendly and completed the work in a timely fashion.
Matt is now my guy. If someone says I need a bike or need one fixed I will say “I got a guy” and I mean Matt. Friendly, fast, affordable and near tacos and hot dogs. Like…awesome.
A cycler's oasis in the middle of the city. Staff knowledgeable and friendly.
Quick turnaround on repair
Both bikes I brought in had to be brought back a second time. First bike went from no problems at all to the worse condition it has been in since I’ve owned it - after the ‘tuneup’. It was eventually fixed after extra charges to me…something that should not have been missed after $250 of work. Second bike, after being looked at a second time, still has the same problem from when I left after the original tuneup. Not sure I will bring it back in a third time as it seems an issue too difficult to fix for the mechanics (new chain not shifting into smallest chainring on the crankset). Overall not impressed with the service. Since my former LBS no longer does maintenance I thought BH would be a great option…was sadly wrong.
Very easy and smooth quick service.
The repair staff is awesome, but the in-store staff can sometimes be a bit standoffish and haughty. As an avid cyclist it pains me to see cycling shops reinforce the negative stereotype that cycling shops are snooty or require a lot of knowledge to visit, especially because I think the staff genuinely means well.
Really friendly service. Personal. Smart. Izzy was really on top of everything and helpful!
Great service and very knowledgeable staff
Adam and Mike are brilliant as always. Super friendly and honest, it’s so good to have a great local bike shop run by great people!
Excellent customer service. My salesperson took the time to take me on a test ride and answered every single question I had. He also thoroughly explained the pros and cons of various accessory items. Very happy with my bike purchase!
Victor was very helpful, and a great person to work with. Thank you.
Always friendly and quick service. No attitude.

I like everything and everyone there. I wish it cost less but I am a very satisfied customer.
Friendly, fast, affordable. The guy with the mohawk/mullet at your park slope location was awesome.

Y’all are alight I guess
I purchased an Fx3 online and had it sent to you guys to deliver it to me. Brian, the technician who set up my bike was friendly and helpful. I’ve never set foot in the shop yet but I certainly will in the near future. I hear good things on other reviews and I can already tell why.
Thanks.
Excellent tune up. No pressure to buy more than needed. Fast service.
Amazing customer service! Matt is top notch. So nice and knowledgeable -I’ve already told a handful of my buddies to switch bike shops and go see Matt
Prompt, efficient, high quality, and friendly. Just what I want from my neighborhood bike shop!
The BH on Vanderbilt Ave is always friendly, fast, courteous, professional and experts at fixing any bike job - big or small.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a Public bike from online and this shop was the partner in putting the bike together. They did a great job! Thank you!
