The staff at The Bike Doctor consistently take the time to listen to the concerns I have about my e‑bike repairs. They note everything carefully and make sure that information is shared among the team, which means I never have to repeat the same list of issues to multiple people.
Their communication is excellent , whether it’s a phone call with an actual person, an email, or a text message, they keep you updated and informed. Before you leave the shop, they walk you through the repairs they completed so you know exactly what was done.
As someone who lives in the Broadway neighbourhood, I feel fortunate to have The Bike Doctor close by. Their service, communication, and attention to detail make them a standout local business.

Mike & Eric were so helpful in getting my wife back on a bike. She hadn’t ridden in 5 yrs due to a back injury & her bike was not repairable due to age & wear. They took their time listening to her wants & concerns & found a bike that fit her needs! She was even able to take it for a test drive! Here’s to great days of cycling together again! The team always treats me with respect, remembers me and my family’s particular cycling needs. Martin is the best mechanic I’ve known in my decades of cycling; every tune-up or repair results in feeling like my Domane is brand new. And he makes sure I keep it that way by advising on maintenance and care I can do myself. This team is great!

I have been coming to Alter Ego for years, so it’s great to see a survey in place now. Over that time, I’ve consistently been impressed with the mechanics and the overall service at the shop. I would especially like to highlight Daniel and Josh as well for the expertise, care, and consistency they bring to every interaction.
Daniel (and to Josh depending on who is there) in particular has tuned my bike for virtually every race I have done, whether it’s been local, national, or international. My setup is always dialled in, always reliable, and always backed by solid advice. That level of trust and fine tuning is exactly why I keep coming back.
