I never have to worry about whether you'll show up and the quality is usually pretty consistent.
I noticed that in the kitchen that some of the appliances were not moved and dirt and even some little food crumbs were still there.

The house smelled and looked very clean. We were very pleased with the service and would like to discuss a monthly cleaning.
After the initial cleaning there was a cobweb hanging from the ceiling to a fake tree and the glass on our kitchen cabinets was not cleaned.

At my age,I really don't have the energy to vacuum or mop floors. I appreciate that someone else will do it for me.
The first cleaning was AMAZING! I was very pleased with the work.
I was a little less satisfied with the second cleaning, which seemed to be more hurried. The bathroom counters felt gritty, the stovetop was only half cleaned, the utility sink wasn't touched at all, and some of our decorative items were not put back in their places. I am not upset - just hope that this week's cleaning is a little more thorough and consistent with the quality of the first cleaning.

I first hired Merry Maids when I lived in South Bend, IN. I moved to Indianapolis and because I had a good experience in South Bend, I decided to go with Merry Maids at my apartment in Indianapolis. I started in December and asked for cleanings every other Friday. In five months, I had to call and complain following THREE different cleanings. One because one of the maids put a necktie on my cat - something that was in a basket behind my couch...not sure why she was rummaging through that nor why she thought it was ok to put it on my cat. The second time was because I paid $110 to have my countertops wiped off and my carpet vacuumed. The following week a new crew was sent out and the cleaning was to my satisfaction. While I am glad this happened, I was irritated that I had to call and complain to get my apartment actually clean. This past Friday 4/12/13 really made me mad. I am not sure what she did besides vacuum my carpet - and she didn't even move the stools at my bar to vacuum there....she vacuumed AROUND them. She also didn't clean my bar, there was ZERO dusting done, not only were my floors not mopped they weren't even swept. My bed wasn't made, there were coffee grounds and other spots on the the kitchen counter, the toilet seats were untouched - and these are all things I was told were standard and would be done with every cleaning when I hired Merry Maids in December 2012. I called to complain and said this time I was not paying for the cleaning and I wanted my $110 back. I was told that was against policy, but more maids would come out Monday 4/15/13 and perform another cleaning. I said that's fine. I will see them Monday, keep my $110 and you are fired. And that is what happened. Yesterday, 4/15/13 Merry Maids came to my apartment, did a sastisfactory job of cleaning my apartment, Merry Maids kept the $110 and lost my business forever. Not reliable, does not perform services promised, and overall makes poor business decisions if you are willing to let a customer walk when you are at fault. That is how I will describe Merry Maids to my friends and business associates.
It smelled amazing when I came home. Everything was cleaned to my satisfaction.

The crew was suppose to be at my house at 11:00 am and didn't come until 1:00 pm. The floor in the mud room and the mud room cubbies did not get wiped down. The laundry room floor and cabinets did not get done.
I don't understand how one person can clean 4 bedrooms, living room, dining room,, long hall, large utility room and family room in 50 minutes and do a good job. All our rooms are large and while things look decent something has to be missed. I don't follow her around to check so don't know what she does---all I know is she does a lot in a very short length of time.
Other gal does a decent job of cleaning our kitchen and bath and 1 1/2 in same length of time. Seems like they are in a real hurry to get in and out and on to the next house.
The crew that came to the house was very friendly. They were efficient and did an excellent job.
The ladies are about the same time every time. They are very professional and friendly and responsive to our needs. They do a good job consistently.
You always accommodate my schedule.
Consistency of cleans. Sometimes great, sometimes a bit lacking in thoroughness. Now that the price has gone up, I'll be less likely to recommend. I know that's a part of doing business, but it made me think twice about keeping the service.
More detail cleaning on the bathrooms around base of toilet and cleaning bathtubs.
I really appreciate the green products used. I like that I can count on Merry Maids to show up and do a great job and my house looks clean so I can enjoy it!
The staff is consistent and timely. I enjoy coming home to a clean, fresh home.
I had the Merry Maids do a deep clean before we moved in to a new apartment. The deep clean was overall wonderful, but they missed the back side of the blinds. Not that big of a deal. The services are more expensive than expected, so that would be a caveat when recommending Merry Maids.
