some times, girls forget to do some portions of the house to clean.
Cleaning of hardwood floors.
Deep clean in Master Bedroom and Kitchen....even down to microwave interior and wiping down kitchen cabinets and fridge. Ahhhhh. I can survive another stressful week!!!!

I think based on size of my house, I pay much more than I should due to the fact I am single and am rarely ever home in addition to be a neat freak. I am positive the people cleaning my home would agree with that.
I have a leather basket next to the commode in the Master Bath. I keep magazines in it. On Thursday the woman emptied it, as though it was trash.
The ladies are prompt, pleasant and efficient.
We would appreciate having a 2 person team again. We have seen significant differences when we have had one person v. 2 people. We are alway much more impressed when 2 team members are here. If we had 2 people doing the job - this number would be higher.
Two comments; a majority of the women ("associates") that come to clean are smokers. We usually have to ask them to remove their coats/jackets immediately upon entering our residence and leave them outside as the smell is overwhelming to us as non smokers. This alleviates some of the problem but does not completely eliminate it. We usually have to stay a couple of rooms away from their activities. Would it be fair to ask for non-smokers only for our needs? Second, there is an inconsistency to the cleaning quality of the "associates". I realize that having the same "associates" every time is not possible but once we have overseen and instructed them it would be nice not to have to do it every time with new ones.

While I can't speak for the products used, I can say that Ginger and Shadley did a terrific job on our home. I was literally speechless upon doing a "walk-through." Everything looked great--particularly our furniture and the floors.
The place always looks clean on the surface, but often small things are missed. For instance, the area around the faucets is never cleaned properly. Due to hard water, I get a build up around the faucet in my bathroom. This is something that should be done every time Merry Maids come.
The brown spot on the bedroom floor and dust build up behind toilet that we found upon arriving home after the cleaning were taken care of by another employee of Merry Maids, which was much appreciated. Over the next couple days, we realized the top of the TV/entertainment center was not dusted, cabinet doors in the kitchen were not wiped down (or if they were, not all dirt was removed), built-in & TV in master bedroom was not dusted well. Many things were done well, but I will not likely pay the price for the service again.
I have to say I was really pleased with today's cleaning (January 14, 2013). This is one of the few times I have been completely satisfied. The floor in the utility room looks better than it has in a while. My sincere thanks.
The staff is efficient, and we have had no issues. However, I would like to note that if they turn the heat up when they arrive, I would appreciate it if they would turn it back down.

The girls are so thorough in their cleaning and so friendly and helpful in their demeanor. I always feel I've made two new friends each time they come!!! Plus, my chrome fixtures have never been so shiny...

The cleaning is very thorough, the cleaning people very professional, and the price is very reasonable.
I've had problems with my service in the past few months. Getting the problems resolved has not been easy. This month I again didn't receive the courtesy reminder call the day before my cleaning. The sofa was not vacuumed again (it had been missed in november as well). The rest of the house was wonderful. It just seems very hit and miss. The whole point of hiring a cleaning service is to make my life easier and it's starting to feel like every month I wonder what is going to be missed.
