Did a nice job this month and last month. How they got the hard water stains out of my kitchen sink is beyond me. I only wish the same two people would come each month. Not all of them do as good a job, but the last two months have been very good.
The friendliness and thoroughness of the employees was top notch! My house sparkled for the first time in many months. I am glad that I finally gave Merry Maids a call.
The service is great!
You never showed up after the first visit. I was really pleased the first time but, then very disappointed. When I called in to find out what happened and why the girls didn't come I was told it wasn't a big problem and they could try to reschedule. Seriously??? It was a big problem and TRYING to reschedule was not the right answer.
We would like more consistency out of the staff. The last 2 cleanings were done very well. However the previous ones were very spotty. From lines left on the floors, to the back splashes not cleaned, and no dusting done on one of them. Lately the service has picked up. We also would like to try & understand why some bills come in higher than others. We have stopped our 4th bedroom from being cleaned, our agreement stated it would be 10$ cheaper. We were paying it, but now we got an invoice stating our fees are 17$ higher instead of 10$ lower. Good news is in summary cleanings are of better quality, bad news is price has unexpectedly increased.
Cost seems a bit high for a house my size, and most recently I came home to find lights left on in 3 different rooms, which normally wouldn't have been that big of a deal but in this case I was out of town for an entire week so they were left on all that time.
Did what was told would be done. House looked very nice.
The service was very good
To say that I am disappointed would be a severe understatement. My home was not cleaned! I assume the cleaners took advantage of the fact that I was out of town and cut every corner imaginable. I paid over 300 dollars to have a deep clean done and essentially they shammed me. My shower head had considerable salt and hard water deposits that were not touched, my tub was not even cleaned! Further the oven and refrigerator service I paid for were not done. How do I know? Because the ice was still sitting in the same spot it was when I left, the oven has the same stain in the bottom! The only thing they did "clean" was the toilet and I assume that was because it was easily noticeable. I will certainly not recommend merry maids to any of my friends or colleagues. I'll be sure to let my organization know about the service I received however and ensure we aren't recommending our 90000 employees to use this provider. Absolutely absurd!
People are friendly and do a good job.
We appreciate the thorough vacuuming of the couch and stairs. Also our shower is cleaner than it has ever been! I like not having to clean so often after work.
I was told that the maids would be there for 2-3 hours cleanig and they stayed for 1.5 hours. I asked for a deep clean however the fireplace wasn't touched and had visable cobwebs on it, the laundry closet (that I pointed out) wasn't dusted or swept. I was told the baseboards would be cleaning and there was still dust on the baseboards in the bathroom. The light fixtures weren't dusted. There were just several things that I thought would be cleaned with a deep cleaning that weren't. However, one of maids did a great job cleaning our shower. To make it right, I would like a free cleaning in the future.
We like how they focus on different sections of the home each visit.
often time when blinds and/or window sills are cleaned the blinds are in the raised position when we return home, overall quality of workmanship is good
For the most part, they did what they were supposed to do. The first time they came, I had asked for them to dust the dining room light fixture (five bulbs under a glass shade) and they forgot. The second time, they dusted it. I liked how they folded my towels in a decorative way in the bathrooms. Everything was very clean and tidy and looked great!! Wish I could afford the service twice a month. (single person home)
Had to have another cleaning crew come out after the first one and there were still spots missed. Not very thorough.
You don't have to think about it, Merry Maids is there when scheduled, the work is done perfectly and they lock up when they leave. Makes our lives much easier.
The quality of the work was fantastic. Our home was cleaned to perfection.
Little things are often overlooked. such as not sweeping under the bathroom cabinet/sink, washing both inside and outside glass on doors.
Your personnel were friendly, fast and thorough. They left my home sparkling clean!

Focus on the little details.
The products do the job. The ladies are friendly and open. I would only add that the 4 queen Ann chairs should be dusted under the seat. We like the service and those who provide it very much.

The ladies are coming to do a second walk thru. Some issues that concerned me were cobwebs, and appliance cleaning. For the most part though they did a good job. But I paid around $400 and wanted it do be done with great effort.
Bathrooms and hard wood floors
I believe that limiting the cleaners to 2 hrs is not sufficient time for deep cleaning. Services in other areas offer a per hr fee and do the work prearranged with the evaluator.. I was told Merry Maids did this, but each week the techs say they only work 2 hrs. This leaves deeper cleaning, I.e., polishing lower structures of furniture and wet wiping baseboards to me. I have physical limitations and pay to have the streneous work done for me. The techs are always courteous and friendly but have to work within comoany constraints.
