Friendly, fast, effective cleaning methods!

I was extremely pleased with your the carpet cleaning service zerorez provided. I had a high traffic area with a light colored carpet that I have always struggled to get clean. Rick was able to get my carpet looking like new again. I loved that with the Zerorez system of cleaning, my carpets were not crunchy when dry and no chemical small. Rick was very nice and took his time cleaning and made sure I was 100% satisfied with his work before he left!

Previously, I've had EXCELLENT service from zerorez. However, my recent experience with the technician, Chris, that was sent this time was very poor. The home I had cleaned is currently on the market but inhabited by renters who leave their childrens' uneaten popsicles to melt on the living room carpet. Although I hoped zerorez could magically make the stains disappear, I didn't expect the protectant I believe I had zerorez apply 2 years ago to still work. When Chris initially tried to up-sell me on the protectant over the phone, I explained that since I was selling the home, I hoped never to have to clean these particular carpets again. He insisted that potential buyers would see that having the carpets scotch guarded as an asset. I said that I would see how the cleaning went first, then decide. What's the point of having carpets with orange and red stains protected? Potential buyers won't care if it has protectant on it if it's already ruined. Sure enough, when I arrived to pay him and see how it went, he was still working on those pesky living room spots. So much so that the paint on the baseboard near one of the spots had bubbled up and been scrapped off. That will have to be repainted. He said he couldn't get the spots out (I honestly didn't expect that he would have been able to). He said that if I got him a pair of scissors, he would trim the top of the carpet down, hopefully hiding the spots. Trim the carpet? Is this a common industry practice? And if it is, why doesn't he have his own special sharp carpet trimming scissors in the van? I was wary. One of the spots was right in the middle of the floor for all to see. I didn't want a lower, round hole there instead of the spot. I declined his offer and also passed on the protectant. All of that would have been just fine and I would have given zerorez a 9 or a 10, however, after he left, my tenant, who had been there for the cleaning said that before I arrived he asked her to get him scissors so he could trim the carpet on the spots before I got there so I wouldn't know that they didn't come out and so that I would purchase the protectant. She said she stalled by pretending that she couldn't find scissors until I got there so that as the homeowner, I could make that decision and he wouldn't just do it without my knowledge. So now, not only do I have stains on the carpet next to a scrapped up baseboard in a home we are showing potential buyers, but a bad taste in my mouth about his attempts to up-sell me on protectant. The carpets in my new home are due to be cleaned and I would want protectant on all of them - since I actually live here - but if there was even a slight chance that Chris would be sent out here to do the work, no way. I'd rather take my chances with a different company. I asked my tenant how the carpets look after they have dried and she said that she thought that front room could have used more work. She said he didn't even spot treat it (and it was the worse carpet!) and felt like he rushed through that room attempting to get it done before I arrived. She said that although Chris was friendly, he small-talked with her for about 10 minutes before he even started cleaning and she was starting to feel uncomfortable. She also said he was not very informative about what it was he was doing. Now, I'm disappointed that the front room doesn't look as good as it might have if he'd slowed down and paid more attention to it. In 2012, whomever was sent out to do my cleaning was amazing and I wish I could remember his name. He was able to repair several small holes my puppy had dug into the carpet. His carpet repair work even withstood the abuse of my renters and still looks flawless. He was worth every penny. If he could come back, and replace the Popsicle stains that didn't come out (I still have remnants!) and make sure that front room was cleaned properly, I'd be thrilled!

I've used ZeroRez many times. Sometimes the cleaners are able to clean my highly traveled areas better than other times. This cleaner did an "ok" job but there are still traffic patterns. He was in and out pretty quick. I like someone who can do the job quickly but only if they also get the dirt out. One never knows how effective the cleaning was until the carpets are completely dry.

I am very pleased with the excellent cleaning I had. The carpets are so clean and the young man that cleaned them knew exactly what he was doing!

You said you would call for free followup after 6 months...never got the call.

I like the concept of cleaning without harsh chemicals. I have small children who are always laying and playin on the floor.

It was fast drying, I also have allergies and there were no problems with soap residue and lingering smells. The technitions were great and very professional.

The servicemen that came to my home were courteous and willing to talk to me about what they saw and the recommendations for cleaning. I had two different tiles in my bathroom, and they measured and showed me the exact cost before they started working. And I got a $20 gift card for my next service! Wooo-hoo!

We had an issue with HVAC filter paid for not being installed and overcharging of protectant and not applying protectant, etc by a specific employee. However we have been promised a $400 credit to cover it.

You say you sprayed for pets but my capers smell worse then when I've had other company's clean them. It's been a week and my bedroom is worst of all it's a suffocating smell:( I've left my window open the last thre days during the day but it does not help

The technician, Derek was extremely thorough and very customer oriented. The results were much better than I had anticipated. Using your products and system he was able to get some spots out that I thought would be impossible to remove. Thank you so much!!
