How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

(1) Your technician backed up his truck into my house and damaged brick exterior adjacent to my garage.
(2) Your technicians destroyed my weather stripping under my nice wooden door.

The carpet cleaning looks adequate; however, the damage to my house overrides anything you did good with my carpets.

I liked how friendly and courteous the technician was. He shared some experience and knowledge with me so I will be able to help keep my carpets cleaner. He was fast and professional and made my carpet look so much better. I like knowing that Zerorex doesn't leave residue so that it won't collect dirt later.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

The tech was very rude. He kept telling me how disgusting my carpets were and that no matter what he did unless I paid a fortune to clean them, he could not guarantee any of his work. So the price you get when you call to order the service has NO GUARANTEES. He seemed only interested in selling me more service and not giving me satisfactory service for what I could afford. I would not use this company again.

The technician worked quickly and thoroughly. I appreciate the Zerorez approach to carpet cleaning - a chemical-free and a truck-mounted cleaning system are essential to me!

A 3 hour arrival window is a pretty big slice of time. Isn't it possible to refine that a little bit.

What could we do to improve?

Even with the great price the total bill was over $200 which was very difficult for me with such a small home. I would like to have had the other rooms done but the price was too high for me at this time of year. The 2 young men were courteous and helpful and knowledgeable which is probably why I paid for the extras.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Well, the heavy traffic areas still looked pretty bad when they were finished being cleaned. The man who did the cleaning seemed disconcerted, as did I. He later called and said he might be able to try again on my carpet. That really impressed me. Though, when my husband got home, he wasn't sure if the carpets had been cleaned or not. So, I guess it is a wait and see. Right now, the carpets don't look as good as I had hoped.

I really liked the fact that there is no soap used in the cleaning method. My carpets look and feel great! I can't believe how much they needed it. The technician was very polite and knowledgeable about his work and products. Thanks for doing such a great job!

I am having difficult time getting the furrows out of my carpet from the raking, have vacuumed several times but they are still very obvious, any suggestions.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Set proper expectations. The whole sales process could be better. I kept getting jerked around on just making an appointment. I first requested an afternoon appointment and I was told that would "be fine". Then when the representative called to confirm my appointment they said it would be between "8am-11am". I was disappointed to hear this and told the representative I had requested an afternoon appointment and they said "sorry about that but they are all full". I asked if I could be the first appointment so they could come close to 8am since no one lives at the house that was being cleaned and I would have to drive out there and I was reassured by the representative that I was "the first appointment" on the route and the cleaner would be there just after 8am. So I adjusted my work schedule to come in late that day. Then the day before the cleaning appointment was scheduled I get another call from Zero Rez asking to confirm my appointment "between 2pm-4pm". I was shocked to hear it was changed especially after I adjusted my work schedule. I asked why it was changed the representative said "I am note sure". I assumed it was because the original agent tried to do me a favor and get me a later appointment but without me knowing that she would do that it ended up causing more trouble. I requested that I get switched back to the "8am-11am" window since I already adjusted my work schedule. The Rep was finally able to get me switched back to the 8am appointment.
On the morning of the appointment I drove out to the house that would be cleaned and I got there at 7:45am. I finally got a call from the cleaner at 8:35am and he said that he was "on his way" and would be there in "30 minutes". I was slightly frustrated at this point since I was expecting them to be there just after 8 since I was assured that I was the first appointment. 30 minutes go by and no one has showed up, an hour passes and it is 9:40am when I get another call from the cleaner. He says, "traffic is really bad, I should be there soon". At this point I am really frustrated because I don't understand why its almost 10am and I am still waiting. Finally at 10:20am the cleaner shows up. Basically 2 hours past the time I was expecting him to show up. I don't understand how it can take 2 hours to get from Salt Lake to Eagle Mountain. I am sorry but even in traffic it wouldn't take that long. I was very upset because I delayed going into work and sat at an empty house waiting for your cleaner for 2 and a half hours. when I was reassured that I was "the first appointment".
All of these frustrations were created because your representatives created apparently unrealistic expectations. The cleaner told me that he doesn't even leave your warehouse until 8:20am each morning. If that is true why in the world would you say "8am" as a possible time when they don't even leave the warehouse until 8:20am? Secondly why reassure me that I am the "first appointment" if there is a good chance that the cleaner won't show up until almost the end of the appointment window of 11am? Thirdly why in the world would your cleaner call me and say "I am 30 minutes away" only to show up almost two hours later? The whole process from ordering to cleaning was very frustrating.
Now I expressed these frustrations to your cleaner and he called his manager and got me a discount. It was a pretty good discount he ended up cleaning another room and a hallway for $30 more. Personally I feel like I should have gotten those areas done for free considering the square footage of those "extra" areas he cleaned was probably a total of 200sq feet. But I was glad to see that he did try to work something out and acknowledged that I had a poor experience up until that point.
As far as the cleaning goes, you did a great job. My carpets look great and for that I am impressed. But as for the overall customer service experience goes I was not impressed at all. It would be nice if I could have more control of the scheduling of the cleaning on that very first call instead of waiting for a rep to confirm with me and then have shorter appointment windows of 2 hours instead of 3 and make sure they are realistic. Don't tell people 8am if your reps don't even leave the ware house until almost 8:30. I liked that the cleaner called me when he was on his way but make sure they give realistic expectations and don't say "I will be there in 30 minutes and show up 2 hours later".
