What could we do to improve?

We paid $30 extra for the "pet treatment" but our pet smell remained on our rug. We were quite disappointed, because this was the main reason we called Zerorez.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

You sent out the technician Keith. I showed him what I had done and what needed to be cleaned. I moved a lot of furniture so it would be easier for him to clean. I took doors off hinges so he would not have to go around them. Vacuumed all the areas he was going to clean. Keith started. He told me about this special water the company designed to spray on the carpet. It makes it clean better. He started to spray it and it was dripping when he was spraying it. When he sprayed it got on the other furniture I did not move. I did not want my furniture wetted.

When Keith was working on the steps I thought he was about done and was going to move on to another part of the downstairs carpet. I asked him if he could touch up one part of one step. He replied with something like ‘don’t push the man. I am not done yet.’ He went back to the top of the stairs and worked his way down sucking up the water without the carpet attachment. He did get that area that I noticed.

When Keith cleaned the area outside of the kitchen he really soaked it. There were other carpet areas where he soaked it. He left in the 4 pm hour. By 9 PM the carpets were still wet in these areas. Next morning they were still damp. A few days later my wife noticed a mildew smell near these areas. I explained it was probably because he soaked these areas. After Keith left I looked at the linoleum floor and there was water on it from the carpet that was touching it. I wiped it up.

The reason I called Zerorez was from the commercials I heard on 3 different radio stations. They all talked about how they could get out stains. Well the stains we had Keith could not get out. After the carpet dried they were still there. I called back and you all sent Thomas out. He explained in details of each stain. He got most of them out. After the carpet dried there were only a few faint stains. He did much better job of sucking up the water. The carpet was dry in at least 5 hours.

I had to do the same thing with the other company I called out here years ago. They came out and sent there B crew. Stains were still in the carpet after it dried. Called them back and said they did not get the stains out that I wanted out. They sent the A crew and got the stains out. Same thing happened with Zerorez. Why didn’t you send out the good crew first? I had to take 2 days out of my busy schedule to have my carpet worked on instead of doing it just once.

Your commercials are very convincing that you all are a different kind of carpet cleaning company. You can get out almost any kind of stain. I still have stains you could not get out. You have a machine that lifts the fibers as it cleans. I did not see this machine. The hype I was expecting was not met. Your company is just like the other company I had clean my carpets.

I like your serve but I don't appreciate all the up selling that your representatives do once the arrive at the job.
That is why I would be somewhat likely to recommend your service.
If you advertise a special and sign up for it that should be
noted and not hit up to spend more.

The service from you company was excellent. I got reminder calls, the technician called before coming out and he showed up on time! When he came in, he was extremely knowledgeable. He was very sympathetic to my recent financial situation and offered to extend special pricing for future visits. I will definitely be recommending you to all my friends. Thank you.

I think the hose left a weird 'line' on my carpet when it was pulled from one room to the other. There was a streak after the carpet dried that did not go away.

Your radio ads claim that you will preclean,
sanitize and clean three rooms for $99 plus
give a $50 coupon for other Zerorez future
service and a $25 El Chico gift card. When
your tech estimated what would needed to
remove the stains, the $99 became $599 with
no mention of any coupons or gift card. I asked
for an estimate to be emailed to me and to date
none has been sent.

My carpets were so bad that I thought I was going to have to replace them. Thanks to your service it looks like I have new carpets and they are 20 years old.

The technicians did a great job and our carpet looks very clean and much newer when they were finished. Jamal was very informative and helpful, explaining the process to us about what makes Zerorez different than other companies and how their process is different. He was very polite and professional, not to mention he was on time and called when he was on his way. I would use Zerorez again and I have already recommended it (along with Jamal) to friends.

He seemed a little rushed. Although I appreciate that it did t take upy whole afternoon, I question the value. We also added our tiled kitchen floors but there were a lot of dirty spots under the cabinets. I'm not sure if the equipment doesn't fit under that cabinet overhang, but still.

What do you like about our products and services?

I like the specials that Zerorez runs, that makes it affordable for the consumer.
And, the technician that came to our house (Hector) was such a hard worker and I just had the best experience with the time and effort that was put into cleaning our carpets. I will use Zerorez again, and, I will specifically ask for Hector. He gave it 100% and my husband and I were so appreciative of his outstanding performance!

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

1st appointment did not happen on Friday June 7th. I called to see how late they were going to be. I was put on hold for quite some time then was told according to their dispatch when they tried to call me for a 30 minutes heads up that they were on their way my phone was disconnected. The cell phone I was calling them on... The next appointment was not available until 5 days later. I decied to give it one more try since my property management company First Texas had recommended them and I was running out of time to have the carpets cleaned since new tenants were moving in on the 15th.

Second appointment was on Wednesday June 12th wih a window between 4 to 6:30pm. I called several times to makes sure they understood that I was at the empty house and irreguardless if someone could get a hold of me or not I needed them to show up. No one had showed bt 6:30 , and was told they were running behind. Finally at 7:00PM an nice guy named Tim called to let me know he would be there in 35 minutes.

Tim did a great job and I was offered 1 room for free by Christen that I talked to at 6:30. These 2 factors made me rate a 5 rather than a 0.
