Yesterday, I drove 70 miles to get to your store in Richmond, VA (on Patterson Avenue). I walked in and was disheartened because they were so many customers there I thought for sure I would have to wait a long time. I waited no more than 3 minutes, and during the wait, every single Fleet Feet employee greeted and acknowledged me even if they were helping other customers. Then Scott came out and asked me if I needed help and I said I wanted to get fitted. I felt SO heard and supported. At one point I even wondered if he thought I was somebody important because of how incredibly well, with patience and care, he treated me. He was not rushing anything or pushing sales. He did not just assess my feet and gait, he assessed where I was in my running journey mentally. Yes, I am super excited for my new shoes (inserts, and three pairs of socks too!!!) but I am actually more inspired by how I was treated at this location. I cannot wait for tomorrow, to put my new ASICS (gel-nimbus) on and go for a run! Fleet Feet never disappointed me and this time they just simply BLEW my expectations right out of the water. Way to go. I will be back. Yes, I will drive that 70 miles there and 70 miles back again.
The foot specialist Virginia was able to quickly find a pair of shoes as well as inserts that fit very well and I was in and out in no time.

The first pair of shoes I bought were not 100% comfortable on my feet and I was encouraged to wear them in/outside for a few days. After deciding the shoes were not comfortable on my feet, I was able to return them and was helped to find a better pair for me.
The customer service was wonderful!!! The time Ben took to explain everything and to make sure I tried on multiple pairs to ensure I picked the best pair for me and my needs.

Excellent sales representative. He took time explaining my feet to me after testing them. He told me what type of shoe was best for me. He suggested the right inserts for my shoes and I tried several pairs of running shoes before making my choice with his assistance. I fully intended on just getting some information in the store, but I walked out with a new pair of running shoes plus orthotic inserts. I am very happy I visited Fleet. Will be back.
