Customer focused
The shop store and rvs are very clean the sales staff very helpful and prompt on communication
Staff was professional and knowledgable
The people are still friendly and try to be helpful AFTER your purchase, though hard to reach at times. We had an upcoming vacation and a defective slide out and they got me fixed in time so we could go. Repairs done at Amsterdam facility were done well. These new motor homes are very complicated to operate, being much more electronic than ones from 10 years ago, and most times I was able to get phone help fairly promptly. Our service writer, Jennifer Downing, was extremely helpful in getting our slide fixed, and all techs we dealt with were knowledgeable and helpful, especially Billy A. This is our 5th motor home and we must say, Alpin Haus has evolved into an excellent dealer.
Everyone is very helpful and they take the time with you and when work is done its neat and clean
Our call was returned very quickly
Everyone did exactly as was stated
The sales person was friendly and not rushed even though it was close to the end of the day
Great customer service
supposedly a new gfi outlet was installed. when i got to camp it did not work and i discovered it had not been wired properly. i am a licensed electrician
Evaluate my RV refrigerator. It was not working properly.
Typically better quality products then what other dealerships offer and a friendly sales staff
On August 31st we purchased a new coach from Alpin Haus in Amsterdam, NY. Our salesperson was James Kussius and to be honest we couldn’t have gotten a better salesman. Polite, not pushy in any way & listened when we were talking to him unlike most sales people who just want to make a sale.
We originally brought our previous coach in for service. It needed the furnace serviced as well as an engine oil change. We spent about 30 minutes looking at some of the used class A’s that they had with our ultimate goal to find something a bit smaller than our current coach (38.5’). After James showed us several units he mentioned that a new Tiffin Allegro 32SA was coming in soon. So, we sat in his office and looked at the floor plan of this 32SA. We were very interested.
We put down a deposit which held the unit so we could see it before completing the purchase.
After James let us know that it had arrived we drove out to look at it. During our test drive never once did James say we needed to turn around and head back. It drove like a dream. My wife and I were hooked!
We worked with Jim Bearcroft in finance to get all of the paperwork taken care of. There was a lot of signing required but Jim made it straight forward and explained everything before we signed.
When we finished the paperwork James walked us over to our new coach. He had decorated it with balloons and his wife made a huge red bow that he hung on the front windshield. Inside were mugs that his wife had made with our names on them. Last but not least he had a poster that had the signatures of everyone that participated in getting this coach ready for us. What a thoughtful idea! He must have found out that we had a special anniversary right around the corner.
During our walk through Bill A. explained as much as our brains could absorb. He took as much time as we needed and answered all of our questions. There is so much to learn that it will be months before we grasp everything that we will need to know about this new coach. At least we feel confident that if we have any questions or need help with something, they will be there to assist us.
All of this thanks to James Kussius and the awesome team of folks at Alpin Haus in Amsterdam, NY!
Always professional and focused on the customer to have a great experience. One of the best service providers I have come across before, during and after the sale.
For the most part we were pleased with the attention we received at Alpin Haus. We were shown units that had the features we were looking for and nothing more. The business manager was pleasant and thorough without the usual upsell. The PDI was also thorough.
What we did not like was their insistence that we had to have additional hitch equipment for "safety reasons". We have had truck campers, 5th wheels and travel trailers over the past 3 decades and have had thousands of incident free miles, crossing the country many times.
Also when I expressed strong concern over the trailer's tires that were manufactured overseas, we were given a lecture that nearly had us walk away from the deal.
I was pushed into something in the name of safety when my truck is more than 2x the weight of the trailer we bought and I felt like $$ was the driving force. That was not a positive experience considering that we paid asking price plus nearly $1000 for dealer prep and documents.
We love the camper we bought there and the service is great. We get a reasonable price on the Forever Warranty checkup. It’s easy to get an appointment for the checkup and the techs let us know if anything is wearing out. That way we can replace things before they break.
This was our first RV purchase and our excitement and enthusiasm was equally matched by our nervousness about diving into the world of RV'ing. But as we look forward to traveling in our retirement years ahead we grew less nervous. The entire staff was courteous, professional and extremely helpful.
We didn't feel pressure from anyone to purchase, and they offered so much information, insight and recommendations for add-ons, places to visit, expectations, etc. I'm sure I'll be calling Dan in the future for refresher information, he was super helpful with explaining everything about the RV.
We were so excited to get our Apex Nano home and set up in the back yard for our first practice and "sleep over". Now we're busy shopping for some of the nuances to complete our dream.
Thanks to Mike, Keith, Dan and the entire staff at Alpin Haus.

Working with service manager Dave has been very easy
My last experience on ordering some missing shelves for a brand new refrigerator took forever to get. We lost the proper use of the refrigerator for the entire camping season. Other than that all dealings with Alpin Haus have been favorable.
Great service after a disappointing problem with our new RV. All repairs were done quick and we are so happy. Thank you
The sales people are very friendly and helpful. Mark House fantastic and very knowledgeable along with Keith in financing. Would definitely recommend Alpin Haus to a friend.

Outstanding support from Dave and his team.
Everyone was very professional to deal with.
Alpin Haus has most of what is needed for maintenance or repairs for my Hymer Aktiv, both in terms of parts and experience by the staff.
Our experience buying our first travel trailer went very well at Alpin Haus! Asa, our RV Outfitter, was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to walk us through the details of every aspect of the trailer. Mark, the Sales Manager was very nice and agreed to store our camper for a little longer than typical before we were ready to pick it up. The price was excellent and our experience with Keith in the Finance Office was equally as pleasant. Dan in the Parts Department was also an expert, ensuring that we ordered the necessary accessories to travel safely. At no time was anyone pushy or "salesy". It was an overall excellent experience. We would highly recommend Alpin Haus to our friends and family and will seriously consider them when purchasing our next RV down the road.
Thanks!
Alpine Haus is the best !!! They are knowledgeable and friendly
Service sept is the best very helpful and nice
Sales Department is great. Parts and retail staff are great and fun. Service Department Techs are great! Service Advisor Department needs serious attention and improvement. I don’t like being treated as if I am a pain in the ***. I did not haggle on price with what I thought was an understanding that the camper was ready to go. I paid the $ 899.00 for “Dealer Prep and Cleaning”. None of that was done. Field Techs have been to service camper four times and they are still not done. When I call the Service Advisor started conversation with “ What’s wrong now Doug”, I could not get through to a human for weeks for something that had been started and not finished. I had to use Zip-ties for the wiring so I could move my camper. Please call for further clarification should you need or want it.

very happy with Jennifer Downing.
Always friendly and have the parts and if not can get ordered
It took me about 2 months to get my trailer in for a co detector and to have my water heater fixed. I also asked to have a marker light lens replaced and two new jacks installed at the rear. The co and water heater were fixed, no mention of the other two items. The service techs are very nice and friendly, maybe a little too busy.
The girl in service ( I didn't get her name) wasn't very nice. Abrupt answers, not a great attitude. Made me feel like I was bothering her and didn't like her job. Made a very bad impression on your business.
The service department has been fantastic, working through difficult warranty issues and keeping me in the loop throughout.
