I can get an effective workout, total body in 1 hour!
Great staff and workouts!
Combo of cardio and weights. Love the community. It’s as challenging as you want it to be!
Orange Theory Fitness (OTF) is a good place to work out. However, the cost is higher compared to other gyms. I enjoy the workouts, facilities, and staff, but I hope OTF adds stretching classes soon.
The fact I didn't come this far to just come this far, it helps me stay responsible and it's fun!
I love the efficiency of the workouts. I walk in workout and then leave.
I love OrangeTheory Ballston! I've been a consistent member since 2015 so have seen all of the changes over the years. Hannah has done an absolutely incredible job as head coach and the vibe in the studio is so positive, fun, and welcoming thanks to her. All of our 5 a.m. coaches are fantastic: Gregory's focus on form has made me better and stronger, Jess's encouragement has helped me finally make the transition from power walker to jogger, Jasmine's classes are warm and supportive, and Cleo creates such great energy and has cultivated a community among the 5 am-ers. I feel so lucky to have these amazing coaches every morning! Our SAs are also the best. I'm very grateful to have such a wonderful studio in the neighborhood.
I like that I don't have to prepare anything (exercises, reps, timing, music, etc.) to have a great workout. It makes it much easier for me to enjoy working out when I don't have to come up with all those things on my own. The coaches make the difference too. Having someone to correct form or provide encouragement each workout goes a long way!
Adaptable to the individual.
Trainer really pushes you to do your best
I really like the coaches. They keep you motivated, watch your form and frankly, seeing them keep the entire room timed and moving is sooooo impressive!
love everything!
the community, the coaches, the early mornings, the music, the teamwork!!
The Variety of exercises in every class. The implementation of exercises in between rower. Coaches are great at helping with using proper form which is key for a proper workout.
Still not enough 30-40lb weights. In the classes I take regularly 50% or more of the people are usually men or strong women who use these weight ranges and there’s never enough. Hard to justify spending $220/mo at a Premier studio that does not have extra sets of heavy dumbbells which even most regular OTFs I have been to have without the premium up charge. Just a couple extra 30-35’s would make a big difference. Other than that love workout.
Great instructors and friendly staff!
I was traveling and worked out at another studio and it was amazing
The treadmill screen was huge and the treadmills were totally updated.
The spokane location has outdated treadmills with very small screens. The treadmills need to be updated and corporate should be informed of this. They are archaic and new ones should be available for members. We are paying the same price as others across the country yet the equipment is not the same. Totally not right!
Que es distinto, se sienten y ven los resultados, trato personalizado y el ambiente positivo y cálido que siempre se respira.
I really like the constant coaching during the workout. Usually, I love the music as well.
More weight diversity; adding 45lbs dumbbells at lovers ln
Perfect combination of running, strength and rowing. The coaches are very considerate and always guide you thorough the workouts. The atmosphere/staff are very cheerful and friendly. I like how the strength exercises always cover wide and distinct rages of upper/lower body muscles. Finally, rowing is the ultimate test exam to confirm how the strength/running exercises are working cooperatively to build a strong fitness. Lovin it!
All of the OTF locations in Maryland that I have been to are poorly managed, and it shows in the high coach turn over and lack of quality coaching. There is no circumstance in which I would return to OTF in Maryland.
It seems to me that lately there are more issues with equipment not working, impacting members’ ability to finish full workouts, yet management will give no concessions and has no leniency for members who miss a class no matter what the circumstance.
I think management could understand when a regular customer who is usually prompt and does not normally miss a class, misses one and that the studio could credit a class back as a one time courtesy.
OT has been a great resource to help me get more physically fit and the studio is conveniently located, but there are many other fitness studios available today.
I love the energy the coaches bring every single day !! It is a very supportive atmosphere!
Show up turn on my ears and shut off my brain.
It’s a workout I don’t have the stress of doing the math to achieve what’s needed.
Workouts are effective . As social as you want them to be and fun.
Group workouts!
I'm a data-junkie, so I love the connection to my bodies' response to the workout in progress. Every workout is tracked by you HR monitor which provides HR, HR zone, calories burned, distances on the rower and treadmill, average pace & incline, etc. Your monitor connects to the equipment, and the info is live and available on the screens, and following the workout, your results are emailed. It's FANTASTIC!
In addition to the stats, you have camaraderie with everyone going through the class with you! Everyone pulls for each other and pushes their fellow members to succeed, whatever the goal. It's a fun, competitive atmosphere with fantastic staff and dedicated, well-trained Coaches to provide feedback and guide your workout.... That's right, every class has a personal trainer! What more could you ask for. For me?... I know Orangetheory is the last gym I'll ever need!
Diversity in exercises.
I like being told what to do not figure out the workouts on my own.
Coaches are friendly, fun and encouraging. Push me to do better
It changes enough from class to class that enough variation and new muscles is being worked.
The music can be too loud, some coaches yell (other scream), and the floors are frequently dirty. There are positives that make it worth it, but there is room for improvement. I still dont know why the bench at the lockers was moved to the front. People used that when using the lockers. It is a running joke among most members.
The teachers are very nice especially Glennis Seldon, she is the best
