Love Blue Dolphin, excellent teachers and great customer service!!
I like how small the classes are. The students get a lot of personal attention and advance quickly. The staff is very responsive to questions and concerns. I have already recommended Chicago Blue Dolphins to a number of individuals.

The service was great, front receptionist fantastic, teacher was well-versed and great to work with. The program was lack luster and without distinct skills or tips I learned. . The price point was excessive for basic level work I could do solo with my kid in any pool. I loved the people, approach, and idea. It simply seemed most fit for getting kids to love water which in our particular case was not a problem. It was a neat space and clean and so many other nice things.

The teachers and classes are great!!
However, my one complaint is that it is not very transparent how many weeks the classes last, which classes are cancelled due to holidays, etc. All of this information should be published so you can view it while selecting a class time and date.
The facility at swift elementary is unsanitary and dirty, I get that it's old it needs to be at least maintained.
I am going to try the studio swim on my next session see if I like that Better
The instruction is good. The elementary school where the adult lessons is held is in need of major repair. Most of locker showers are broken and even the lockers are rusted. The bathroom door doesn't even close!
Location, instructution both a plus
I signed up for class at a particular time. I was then told that there were not enough participants and the class was cancelled. So I switched to a new time. Then that class was cancelled for the same reason, this time only a couple of days before it was set to begin. I feel like if you offer a class at a particular time you should hold it, as I twice worked my schedule around the availability of classes. Maybe it's okay to cancel once, but the second time you should either hold the class or give the swimmer a discount on private lessons.
We're very sorry that the situation happened twice. We can't offer group classes when there is only one registrant. We run our classes on a monthly cycle now, so we hope that you can join us in November.
Knowledgeable and professional instructors. Most classes are accessible via public transportation.

When classes have multiple students it seems like some of the kids are standing around waiting for their turn.
Every one is really nice, and the classes are small enough that my son gets the attention necessary to grow at a spectacular rate.
The locker rooms at Swift are still quite bad. We tolerate them because of our history with the school and the wonderful progression my daughter has made with her swimming. My recommendation would come with a strong warning about the locker rooms.
Wish there were advanced classes closer to wicker park or Lincoln park. Also wish there were more level 11 options. But for kids at lower levels that isn't a problem.
I was freaking out at first, and Elia, who was my instructor was a total professional and helped me to calm down. I will continue my lessons based on her. The kid you have running the front desk when I came there is rude, and totally unhelpful. He didn't seem interested at all in helping me.

Continuity of learning between classes and the building of skills. We have also been really happy with all our coaches over the years we have been customers.
We had our first class this past Sunday and it was AWESOME. My son, First name removed, absolutely loved it. It's such an intimate instruction environment. Can't wait for next Sunday!
Small size, friendly staff, flexible make up policy
We had three different teachers for our son over the course of 4-5 months. It would be nice to have more consistency - we have an infant learning to swim, and I've heard that they develop a certain amount of trust with their instructors. He just wasn't the same once we had the third teacher start, which is why we decided to take a break from classes.

make sure there is someone at the office on work hours / when there are costumers at the studio...
