What could we do to improve?

Friendly staff! Fun class. Wish you had a bathing suit water extractor so we don't have to take home super wet clothes.

We get the request for suit dryers a lot. They always seem to be broken at the gyms where I've belonged to in the past. We don't have a full-time custodian or handyman on staff, so I've always resisted putting one in for cost and up-time reasons. We'll keep your request in the "parking lot" and maybe we'll add one in the future.

I happened to see the Listen360 review you provided us recently. I'd like to first thank you for providing this feedback. It's always helpful to hear from our clients about how they feel our office and coaching staff are doing.

I would love to speak with you by phone if you have a moment about your first visit with us. Pearachute does not currently provide a phone number to us so I was unable to contact you outright. If you'd be willing to call our office or to provide your phone number, it would be nice to get a little more detail about your visit so I can get to the bottom of why this happened.

If you would rather not speak by phone, I completely understand. I'd still love to hear a little more detail about your experience. Any additional details will help me make sure that this situation doesn't happen again.

That being said, I do apologize that you had the experience at all. As our office manager, I strive to make sure that every student feels welcome into the space and to exceed their expectations. Clearly, this was not what happened when you attended last week and I hope that the experience hasn't completely soured you on joining us again.

I hope to speak with you soon on this matter. And feel free to contact me with regards to any other concerns you have with our organization.

In the meantime, I've added 100 Perkville Points to your account. It certainly can't make up for any frustration or disappointment we've caused you, but I hope it can be one small step towards making amends for the inconvenience we caused you last week.

More locations and compared to other programs, your learn to swim classes are priced on the high end. I could see the expense for the more advanced classes but not for the entry level ones.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I signed up for my first class through pearachute amd we were so excited to try the swim class for my six month old. I was so disappointed to receive an
email that our class was canceled just one day beforehand. No explanation was given and no alternative class time was offered. I still would love to try a class through pearachute and hopefully sign up for a full session before the summer is here and she is around pools and beaches more often. Thanks you.

I believe that you are working through this issue with Pearachute. The cancellation was done on their side, and we didn't receive any notification of it.

The relationship is still new between our two companies, and I'm sorry that you got caught up in a glitch.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the space is clean and comfortable, lots of changing rooms, the pool is warm, and parking is easy. Little things like complimentary swim diapers and toys for kids to pay with are really nice touches. I like the way the class is structured and my son had a blast. We will definitely be back.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

On multiple occasions adults are allowed to use the same pool in which the children are using to receive lessons. This process creates a safety hazard as the pools are not large enough to accommodate two classes.

Response from Swim Studio:

The Endless Pools are wider than two lanes of a conventional pool, and the currents are independent. While we do try to isolate our children and adult lessons whenever possible, during the weekends in question, we had an special clinic going on in the other pool. We would rather not cancel classes or lessons, so in this case we booked the lessons together.

While the situation is not ideal (I'm sure the adult would give the same opinion), there is no safety hazard. In this case, there was a coach tending to the 3 children and another coach tending to the adult. Our coaches are mindful of maintaining safety in the pools.

cant have my kids in the same class, and service when changed was requested was not handled correctly nor communicated among the staff.

We were disappointed that my son had to quit his lessons bc the water temp had to be 80 degrees. Additionally the facility was not kept up very well. We were not aware when we signed up that the next location would not be a Blue Dolphin facility.

Response from Swift Elementary School:

We're sorry if you misunderstood that Swift Elementary School was not a facility that we owned and operated but part of the CPS. While we want to have warmer water for our lessons, we need to work with the school and their current infrastructure limitations that led to them guaranteeing an 80-82 degree temperature. We were sorry to lose clients, but we were happy that we could give a definitive answer to our parents about the water temperature so they could decide what to do going forward. We are changing our focus to more advanced classes where the children and adults are moving more. We wish you and your son the best of luck.
