The quality of instruction, the flexible raincheck and re-scheduling program. The responsiveness of the staff/customer service.
The small class size is wonderful, ensures you are not getting list in the crowd, the instructor is knowledgeable and skilled, and the pool with the current is ideal for the instructor to really be able to see your form and make corrections to your form.

The instructor was great and the facility is very convenient
There were a few oddities during the first session for our daughter (1) it was difficult for the instructor to keep control and a sharp eye on allow the students given the differing abilities in the beginner 4-5 y.o. class (one child was much more advanced and tended to swim/splash on their own causing a distraction and (2) the instructor didn't seem to know what time the course was slated to end and had to ask another instructor for clarification and a parent for the current time instead of checking the clock on the wall. If addressed, we feel like our first timer can have an optimal, safe, fun next session.

freestyle 1 does not use the video consistently which I believe helps correct what you are doing incorrectly.
We were not very welcomed for our first time. We were thinking about signing up but no one at the desk to even ask questions after our trial lesson. Both bathrooms smelled strongly of urine and looked dirty.
Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They demonstrate a true passion for their careers. Facility is well maintained but shower fixtures could use repair/replacement.
Coach Natalie was great with the kids. Facility set up to be very easy to navigate with a baby.
There is only two swimming instructors and had a chance to meet both: One was either yawning all the time and seemed like she didn't want to be there, never asked for my child's or my name. The other instructor was very nice and made the classes a bit more fun for my little one, always kind and patient. Although my child loves it every time we go, we would of had appreciated being told classes were repetitive, same songs and exercises every time. Depending who is sitting on the desk, depends if I get greeted or not. The bathrooms are never as clean as I would imagened they being, I have a 9:45am class and looks about the same when I had a 1pm class, supper dirty under the shower matts.
Coach Kyle is very patient and a good listener. Also, the water is not cold.

I love the instruction I have received thus far. I swam for the first time ever and I am so excited. I have a fear of water after almost drowning twenty years ago.

Instructors have all been great. My kids have learned a lot rather quickly. The kids love going to swim class!

Our decision to stop was just based on our family's hectic schedule.
My only suggestion for improvement is the class has gotten really, really repetitive. I appreciate consistency, but it' the same activities/songs/stations in the same order each week. I would have liked some variety.
The class was great and Natalie was a fun instructor. Our son loved it. Unfortunately the structure of signing up for the classes is misleading. it is next to impossible to actually get in a class. We were put on a wait list and told it depends on when the instructors graduate kids. Some of the swimmers in the beginning class said they had been in the class for almost 12 months. Very disappointing that you can't even get into a class. We understand the need to keep classes small. However remaining on a wait list and calling weekly to see if we can get a lesson is not practical.
