The patience of the coaches. They are very professional and know what they are doing. They are also friendly and encouraging.
Small groups, skills based, warm water, coaches encourage but do not pressure kids
The instruction in a small group setting with the ability to review yourself on camera was wonderful.
Instructor is great! 1-1 is perfect for our son. Waiting area and changing rooms very wet and could use better mopping or path mats
Great instructions. Good feedback.
Great for kids!
Great instructor, great progress.
I do think that organization needs to be worked on in regards to if a student is told that they're signed up for a class-- they should be on the waiting list. Also, maybe the computer system is out of date because the people at the desk seem to have a hard time calculating how many classes we have on file.
The positives: the instructors are phenomenal! The pool/space is small and for us that's a GOOD thing. We love that we're not at a factory for swim lessons (i.e.: Goldfish) and don't feel rushed at each class. My son absolutely LOVES coming to swim class.
Elia, my instructor, was very friendly and made my first lesson very comfortable. I also liked the fact that I could immediately see what I was doing thru recording.
Ease of scheduling, instructor was amazing (Natalie).
I like the instructors and the swimming pool at Swift. The only thing that needs improvement is that there is NO hot water in the showers. With winters coming in Chicago, walking from the building to the car with wet hair, after the class, is a health risk. I really wish, there would be hot water in the showers afterwards. Thanks.
The best part are their people. The instructors are great: Elia, Kyle, Jason.
The staff, the location, the positive attitudes.
Good coaches.
Cleaner facilities - changing room, shower area, floors (blue mats and tile)
More timely repairs with facility - broken shower parts, wall tiles were broken in the women's shower for a long time (my toddler would cry every time we went to use it)
The women's locker room is pretty gross. It is clear that it is not thoroughly cleaned regularly amd the tile is falling off the wall in the showers. It is a deciding factor on whether we will continue coming to Blue Dophins.
My daughter likes her instructor, Elia, very much. She has lowered her swim times in all strokes bec of her improved technique. You folks also respond immediately to issues I've raised, particularly about the inoperative video monitor.
We really like our daughter's teacher and the flexible policies in regard to scheduling, but I remain grossed out by the shower room. I was pleased that last time I completed one of these the shower curtains were refreshed, however, I strongly feel that the locker room stalls and floor need to be cleaned more frequently. The state of the grout/caulking makes me shudder. I saw Simone mopping up poolside and the mop and water water were black.
Thank you for your feedback. It helps us to know what our customers are thinking.
We are working through upgrades on the bathrooms. We just replaced the ADA chairs with new ones with better leg support. We're scheduling a contractor to come in and replace the caulking and clean the grout in the bathrooms. We've got a punch list of other items that we're working through for the lobby and the bathrooms.
We've hired additional staff to keep the floors in the pool room clean, but I'll check the mop heads and buckets to make sure we are replacing the skunky water.
I'm glad that you've enjoyed the lessons with Coach Jason. We'll make sure that the quality of our facilities live up to the quality of our coaching.
Thank you for your patience and continued support.
Coach Fitz
Staff are friendly and helpful, and engaged with child's development allowing child to develop at their pace. Catch up lessons are readily available and allow for continued development of child's swimming capability.
Support is readily available to develop skills away from lessons.
Excellent communication. Flexible schedules.
My coach, Elia, is fantastic. I started as a very anxious new swimmer in january, and through her patient coaching, have achieved more than I thought I could.
Extremely responsive and accommodating, I travel significantly for work and they are always helpful if needing to reschedule or shift plans.
great instructional techniques, flexible scheduling
Sometimes classes start a few minutes late because the previous class takes it time getting out of the pool. Hard to fix unless there was a 5 minute break in between classes.
Program provides an excellent foundation of swimming fundamentals.
Promet replies and very helpful! Also coach Elia is amazing!
I like the small classes, the instructor is very patient and engaging. I think the cost is very reasonable.
We like the professionalism of my son's instructor. She is wonderful and has a lot of patience. Also, the location is good for us.
The instruction is great, the facilities are pretty poor. The pool temperature is better these days, but the locker rooms are simply freezing.
