Clarity of the and timeliness of the report as well as the thoroughness of the inspection.
The inspection from Doug was excellent. He was thorough, easy to understand, and answered our questions. He gets a 10. However, we paid $110 for the radon service and that deserves a 0. We received a report with our address and information showing that the radon was not a concern. That (along with Doug’s thorough report) gave us confidence to move forward with the house. THEN we received a second report the next day that showed we need radon mitigation. Since we already moved forward with the house offer, we aren’t able to negotiate radon mitigation. I’m not satisfied with getting someone else’s radon report with my information on it, it’s hard to trust the data provided.

Inspector, after he’s done, he told me and my contractors that there was only one single problem which was cracked in the basement however, they run when I read the report there was water leakage as well. He can improve his communication a little better. You don’t get me.
Hassle free as a homeowner I was barely involved in the process other than answering some questions and showing around the house. I have kids and dogs and our home inspector Chris was great with all of it. Very efficient and super personable. It was a very thorough yet time efficient process.

We never received a home inspection report and Cory Jacques (Winnipeg branch) will not answer our calls/ emails and it’s been 9 months since our home inspection. We called the head office in Ontario and they never got back to us. Thinking this whole business is a scam.
