After working with many inspectors, I did not find this report overly thorough. It was very basic and did not cover the maintenance items for homeowners. I felt the walkthrough was rushed. My clients being first time owners walked away with many questions afterwards as far as the location of water turn offs, additional detail on water leaks, why the AC was not tested or inspected. Additionally, the home was not out back together. The inspector broke a handle off of the kitchen cabinet (simple fix of screwing it back in) and did not replace the faceplate of the fireplace after removing it. These may seem like simple fixes but we trusted this individual to act on a professional manner and leave the property as it was found, which was not done.
