Andrew did a great job on site. My only complaints are about the written report The inspection report is difficult to read.
On the first page, in red across the centre, it states that “this summary is…”. THAT STATEMENT LEFT US WAITING FOR DAYS FOR THE FULL REPORT, and afraid that a full report would be hundreds of pages if the summary was 57 pages alone.
The table of contents should have been first.
Also, the format is difficult to navigate with each section having it’s own little table of contents (which is fine) but each reference point from that table was untitled, just “Inspected”, or “had nails popping”, or “was seized” but we had to constantly flip back in forth to know what the report was talking about.
One final recommendation is to use colour effectively. In the past I did construction site safety audits. For each point in the inspection I used green, orange, and red indicators to help easily identify inspection points that were good, recommended some improvement, or fails and needs to be addressed. All my site supervisors loved this aspect. It highlighted in important information without the entire report being just the problems, which would seem biased.

Inspectors are so well trained , both in inspection and in communication. Being factual and not alarmist is a great asset to the transaction.
Also, no connections to vendors who may do repair work as a result of the inspection, is important to the client’s perception of the inspection.
