I am glad for the opportunity to talk about my experience with Nurse Next Door.
- When dealing with the office staff, I have always been impressed with their promptness and complete readiness to share any information about my care with me. For example if the schedule had to change I would receive a call telling me there was a change. When I was going to receive a medical supplies order, I would get a call from the office to advise of the delivery.
- As far as my Nurse care, I am even more impressed with the level of care the nurses have provided. I have never felt unsure of my recovery. They communicate everything in regards to my wound. Lastly I would like to say the Nurse and the Nurse practitioner have made my recovery the best experience I have had.

Although it must be very difficult to deal with unique and varied requirements of clients, it would be beneficial if caregivers demonstrated some knowledge of how to manage incapacitated adults, such as how to move individuals and how to dress them.

Also, a checklist of light housekeeping duties that could be initiated by the caregiver without instruction.

Your call/communication centre have little understanding of customer needs and sometimes do not seem to understand that we are the customer. Seems more training would help these apparently inexperienced employees.

Costs per hour are too high and substantially above support that comes from AHS.

My experience with the Staff from Nurse Next Door has been exceptional. My situation was sprung on them last minute. I was being released from hospital and requesting wound care the very next day. They had no previous knowledge of my case and yet they managed to set everything up with just a days notice.
The professionalism with which they have managed my care is amazing. From the staff in the office handling scheduling and ordering supplies to the nurses coming to care for me. It has been and continues to be a great service.
I have had friends and family comment on how well I am being cared for.

ASTER! Aster goes above and beyond every time she visits our family member. We also appreciate how the company reaches out to our family member and drops in occasionally with gifts. I couldn’t imagine leaving her in better hands! Happy holidays!

They helped in a time of need. She was kind and helpful.

All team members are connected. I like the caregiver selection judgement by the Management.

I want to say how impressed I am with Cheryl how just took over my sat am care she makes time to craft with me and bake as well as do the other tasks.

Also my sun to friday care worker Yvette understood last week how hard it was and stayed all day to make sure metally I was ok

We have only had one visit by the lpn the setting up the program has gone very well

I think a bit more then nail trimming needs to be involved.

paying staff a fair wage to retain quality staff. Maybe offer insentatives such as health care benefits. Develop better communications with call centre

Efficient services and we have a great caregiver. Cost is high however.

Michelle is very friendly, accommodating and sweet. My father loved her visit.
