I find them very helpful and kind. They do a good job.
I really like Nurse Next Door but this last time I used your services I wasn't impressed with the person I got to take care of me. This is why:
1. She forgot to call me for our appointment, I had to track her down myself.
2. She forgot to use my cellphone to contact me in Vancouver, instead she called my home number in Yukon so that got my husband upset and worried
3. She was on time to pick me up but she spent more time on her cell phone than helping me get to the hotel
4. She left me at the steps of the hotel instead of assisting me to my room.
I was left feeling like I was an inconvenience
We have sent letters and I've sent emails back to Nurse Next Door about my moms account. Everything needs to be sent to her via Canada Post not emailed to me as I don't look after my mom's account. We keep receiving emails and I don't actually know if my mom has received any of these letters by post. In our letters, we have never even been contacted by anyone so I have to idea if they have been received??? Communication within this company is horrible.
I love nurse next door because they are take care of patient, doing very good job ,always on time,.....
Too many issues with accounting department and staff not following safety protocol such as wearing masks while assisting our family members. Not enough choices of different staff available. Too many cancelled appointments. Though my mom does like her caregiver there are some issues wanting there as well. My sister and I seem to have to micromanage everything.
If NND wasn't the only choice we have we would definitely look elsewhere.
Jennifer is great. She is good at caring for First name removed and for keeping him company.
The service is excellent but the price is a little high.
Josie is a very kind and considerate person as well as professional. I feel very lucky to have her come to my home every day

The level of care and service that I receive from my nurses.
The staff is always cheerful. They are helpful and do their job well. They are able to help with some questions as well. A very good service.

Cheerful, informative and professional service.
Communication
cost and job scope
Because my experience was so satisfactory I would do it again and have already encouraged others to do it.
Poor selection of employees.
First woman spent her whole time playing with my mother's cat when she wasn't talking non-stop. My mother went to her room to get some peace and quiet.
The replacement spent 2 hours texting then going home an hour early because she was allergic to cats. This being a holiday we expected a credit for that time. She went home not sent home.
I have called numerous times to talk to someone, sent emails yet no one has contacted me until I received this survey. I will spend every chance I get giving your company bad reviews on every social media site I can. I want that hour credited to my credit card. Promptly!!!
The nurses were caring and professional.
Great service! Easy to setup for my mother, relieved a lot of stress to know a caregiver is assisting my mother with meals and chores, and companionship. My mother really likes her caregiver too.
Piece of mind by being able to speak to professional about the therapy and my wife's overall health.
On time, caring and very professional.
client likes the nurse and asks when she is coming. whenvshe comes, she can handle everything
Foot care provided to my mother has been Well received by her
Where do I start, your company name alone is a lie, “Nurse Next Door”, false advertising in that most of your workers are NOT nurses or practicing nurses or nurses aides, but just workers who have been instructed to look after seniors. You say the worker will be there for a hour yet, the worker will be there less than 40 minutes due to close booking of clients needing service, so if the worker needs to travel to the next job site, many clients I’m sure are left after less than 10 minutes as my Mother worker told us that they needed to leave in order to get to their next client. I would NEVER recommend your company to any senior looking for a caring company who is going to send a “qualified” care worker or as you state in your company’s name, an actual “nurse” to look after our most vulnerable elderly adults. Shame on your service for providing poor care to our seniors. If it was not for our case worker calling your supervisor to complain about the poor service my mother was receiving, I’m sure your poor quality of service
would have continued, but if it comes down to cancelling payment to your company in order to get minimum service than so be it.
All three nurses were excellent. The last nurse if one can call. Her that came no mask did not wash her hands when she entered (Friday Aug 28 2020) I asked her to wear a mask and she complied telling me that. The Co told her she did. Not have to wear one because I wouldn’t be able to understand her. Stupid reply. I was to take medication for pain and she opened the bottle , stuck her fingers in the bottle , picked out a pill and asked me if I wanted one or two. I refused and since I had another bottle asked to bring it to me and not to take the cap off. She complied. Very very dangerous. Technique. Her name was Harpreet. She said she had been to a birthday party before she came. I wish now I had sent her home. She told me the Company knew but told her to come because there was no one to replace her. Poor given the COVID. I am. Waiting to see how I feel in two weeks. I think she should be monitored and tested.

Depending on the surgery, care needed etc. The 3 hour minimum is rather silly. Not required in my case.
