We were initially hesitant to start daycare with our new boy, Carl, but he absolutely LOVES it, and we have been so impressed with the staff and experience!
Carl is a 6-year-old dog who spent most of his life in a shelter, so we had some reservations about how he would adjust to daycare and being around other dogs. The staff completely understood our concerns, and it has been amazing to watch him FLOURISH. Being able to check on him through the webcams and see him adjusting, socializing, and becoming more comfortable has given us so much confidence in his social skills outside of daycare, too.
He comes home, eats dinner, and is so worn out that he immediately takes a long nap complete with BIG snores. He is always excited to walk into daycare, and I never have to convince him to go inside—which says a lot!
One of my favorite things is how quickly the staff got to know him. They knew Carl by name literally by day two and are always able to give us specific, relevant updates about how he is doing and who he is socializing with. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing that while we're at work, he's being well cared for, having fun, and getting all his wiggles out.
We've already recommended them to a friend with a new puppy, who will be starting once she's old enough. We couldn't be happier with how well Carl has adjusted!

Sometimes my dog comes home smelling so bad I have to bathe him immediately. Please have something in place to ensure that this does not happen.
My two boys absolutely Love Dogtopia, and so do I! I cannot say enough about the caring team and how much I trust them with my boys. They have helped me so much with my busy clinical schedule and all the bumps in the road that we may come across. Cannot recommend more.

Friendly and caring
My dog smelled heavily of soap or a fragrance similar to dish soap and was very itchy. Maybe our dog has allergies, but we weren't sure where the smell came from and whether that was bothering her.
My dogs clearly love it there (but hate boarding b/c I’m not there) . Cameras in every room let you perk into how they’re doing. No odors !!!!
I love that I have piece of mind having my dog Cody at Dogtopia. The staff are outstanding, friend and professional. You can tell they love all the dogs and provide a high level of servie. I would highly recommend Dogtopia to anyone looking for daycare, grooming or overnight boarding.
Awesome people and place. Our little girl goes crazy the second we pull in the parking lot!

The staff is so lovely and the facility is super clean. My dog truly enjoys going there and can't wait to spend the day with her human and furry friends!
First day handed a report card for our dog that was empty with just his name written on it second time we left our dog none of the cameras were working app was not working
You didn't disappoint me. Every staff encounter has been wonderful.
My critiques include two things:
1. There is not a "green" area indoors for the dogs to pee and poop. I'd prefer that for my dog than her peeing on the concrete floor or holding it for the day because she was taught not to pee in the house.
2. The smell inside the building is overwhelming and my dog comes home smelling like it.
Again, the staff I have met at Dogtopia have all been extremely engaged.
Employees are friendly. It’s really close to home. And most importantly, my dog loves it there.
At Dogtopia in East Pasadena, we were delighted to learn what they offer our pups. From attentive day care to pampering and fun activities for all. We are excited to bring our pups every week for the socializing they need that we're just not able to give them otherwise.
