Everybody is very friendly and I know they love and care about my little boy.
There is a lot of inconsistency among the people in the rooms with the dogs. Some of them pay attention to the dogs, and some of them are on their phones the entire time. There is also inconsistency with the timing of letting the dogs out of the crates, both in the mornings and after lunch. I would expect maximum play time and I would expect the dogs to have the full attention at least 75% of the time. I do like how friendly everyone is.
Mostly that my dog likes to go there and the staff is very good to the dogs.

I originally found Dogtopia at the Waterfront because I needed a safe, trustworthy place to board Storm while my kids and I took a 10-day road trip through California. What started as a simple search has turned into so much more.
Storm is an American Eskimo, Alaskan Klee Kai, and Shiba Inu mix, and she's still under a year old. Like many young pups, she was a little hesitant at first, but thanks to the incredible staff, she's really started to spread her wings, build confidence, and explore. Watching her excitement when we arrive says everything I need to know about how much she loves being there.
The team is genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and so much fun. They clearly love what they do, and they treat every dog as if they were their own. It's comforting to know Storm is in such caring hands.
One of my favorite features is being able to check in on Storm throughout the day. Having camera access gives me so much peace of mind and lets me see her playing, making friends, and enjoying herself.
I'm so grateful I stumbled across the Waterfront location. It has become much more than just a boarding option. It's a place where Storm is growing, socializing, and thriving, and I couldn't recommend them more highly.If you'd like, I can also make it a little shorter for Google Reviews or a bit more heartfelt and personal.

The level of care and attention that staff provide for my dog and my daycare needs is outstanding! I am very happy with my experience and look forward to continue taking my sweet pup to Dogtopia for the rest of their lives!
Loved feeling like family. The dogs are well cared for and enjoyed the special picture events and activities available for the dogs. The facilities are clean and do not smell. Most important the dogs were happy!
Dogtopia of Nasa really helped me out when I was in a bind. They took great care of my two dogs and practically bent over backwards to make sure I was able to maximize my stay while in Houston.
The staff are all so welcoming and excited to see Vivian when we arrive. She seems to be well cleaned and is never overly thirsty or seemingly lacking in any way when I pick her up. She's just happy and tired. They do a great job of communicating and maintaining a clean space.

Althea had another wonderful visit at Dogtopia Miramar! She absolutely loves coming here, and it’s so comforting to know she’s excited every time she walks through the door. The team is always so kind and caring, and they truly treat her like family. She was groomed yesterday and looks absolutely beautiful! They did such a great job, and she came home happy, clean, and smelling amazing. Thank you for always taking such good care of our puppy! We really appreciate everything you do

I love how the staff genuinely cares about the pups. They always have positive things to say about my Jaxson. The only negative that I have, at this point, is that the website cameras have been down for quite awhile and the staff doesn't have a timeline on when we will be able to watch our pups play.
The manager Stephanie, is so great to work with! And the groomer does and excellent job!
Staff is friendly. They take take good care of my dog. He is always excited to go to daycare.
We love it here, staff is great, but a lot of the time Luna comes home stinking of dog pee to the point of my car and home smelling. The prices after the special is over is a bit much.

O well love bringing my fur baby to this location. How we the communication could definitely be improved. This includes the lack of overall demeanor when you call in. In addition I’ve asked at least twice to have a tour of the facility and I’m told oh no problem and then it never happens. But most of the workers are great and I’m pleased with my dog responds.

The Dogtopia of South Waterfront has been the absolute hands-down best place I have EVER taken my dog for daycare and boarding.
I found myself in a bind two days before a business trip when my previous boarder abruptly closed up shop. I reached out Dogtopia and they went above and beyond to make sure I could get my little guy evaluated, booked and boarded before my trip. I was so nervous taking him to a new place but the moment I dropped him off, my worry was replaced by a huge sense of relief. The staff at Dogtopia show such love and appreciation for every pet that comes through there. But I’ll tell you: the excitement and love they shower my dog with EVERY TIME I bring him in — there’s nothing like it. I walk out of there grinning ear to ear.
There’s also special themed events, photo shoots and “treats” you can sign up for — along with spa services. Rango especially loves his mani / pedi!
It’s not the cheapest place but it’s also not the most exspensive option either. And honestly — should you take your dog to the dollar store equivalent of doggie daycare? Absolutely not. Take your pet somewhere you know they’ll be loved and cared for!

I was watching my intact 5 month old female dog get humped on camera, and when I texted the facility to let them know and asked for them to intervene and or place her in a kennel for the rest of the day. The reply I got was that she is too young to get pregnant, as a Veterinary Technician and an animal behaviorist I was appalled at the reply like the only think I had to worry about was unwanted puppies. I think its important for the staff to be aware that humping that leads to dogs getting tied can cause serious physical and mental trauma for a dog let alone a sexually immature animal.
The staff makes the difference. They are friendly, prompt, professional. They know and love dogs. Lola and the Friday staff are favorites for us. We've been going for years now even though it's out of our neigborhood.
For the price that we pay to board for boarding and daycare it's a bit of a bummer that the dogs largely just seemed kind of sit around or whenever we check the live cam our dog is usually behind a fence by himself and seems a bit sad he also usually comes home smelling like urine. It also is a bit concerning to us that for boarding there's no one there with the dogs overnight for these reasons we have chosen a dog sitter instead for our last few trips.
You are very convenient and flexible with scheduling if needed. Your staff is very friendly and treat my Chayce very well.
