I purchased 2 pre-owned bikes online. I had a pretty frustrating experience at first. The bikes were shipped quickly but both boxes tore open on the ends during shipping. Fortunately, the bikes were well packaged and still protected. However, I was missing one part. Assembly was difficult. The videos and booklets were not specific to my bikes, so I did not have the information I needed. I could not get the SRAM AXS shifting to work. I called Trek customer service and spoke with Mara Beebe. She was fantastic! She addressed all of the problems with follow up emails with the additional information I needed for assembly. I had to contact SRAM customer service regarding the shifting and they were able to resolve that problem. The missing part is being shipped to me soon (I hope). Because customer service was so helpful, I would highly recommend Trek! I have been a Trek customer for the last 30 years, with countless road, mountain, touring, and kids bikes. The bikes are among the best!

P.S. The bike trade in program is a joke! My local Trek dealer agrees. You were going to offer me $250 for my $5,000 bike that is only a few years old??!

I really like the smooth shifting of the gears and the trigger shifters. I love the orange color of it too. It’s a great color for getting noticed by drivers on the roads. My Verve 1 is a great bike for my purpose of riding. Great quality.

Although it was out of stock for several months beforehand, once it was finally in stock, it was easy to configure and purchase my bike online. The communication with the progress of my order was better than I expected. It was delivered to my local bike shop, who did the final assembly and adjustments, so I hope they received some revenue for their work too.

In the last 6 months, I have purchased a Domane, Helmet, and shoes from Trek through my local bike shop, Old Towne Bike Shop in Colorado Springs. Thé whole experience was flawless and I have a really sweet set up now.
