I recently purchased a chain guard for my Electra. Who ever shipped it sent it in the original packaging. Received item damaged. There was no padding or protective wrapping! This is not what you do. I repaired the damaged part, and installed it.
Quality control of the shipping department is vital. Moneys lost due to returns and reshipping can be avoided by simply having the forethought of treating the item as if were your own!
Instead of pulling it from stock, and slapping a label on it.
If by chance this item is manufactured and sent from a contracted supplier then a simple inspection of the companies procedures is warranted.
