While I would prefer to purchase from a local bike shop, I guess the cost of ebikes make it impossible for them to stock many models. With that said, you seem to have established a solid relationship with bike shops all around the U.S., making me feel supported.

The shopping process was foreign to me. I've never purchased something this pricey over the Internet. Your pages were comprehensive. As my first venture into eMTB, I did have several questions that I may have liked to talk to someone. Luckily, I have a co-worker who was willing to help me figure things out. A chat service would have been nice, if you have one, I missed it. Please, not a chatbot, if it can't be an actual expert, I'd rather find my own. Overall though, I would say the shopping experience worked.

The proof will be in the bike itself. So far, (3 rides), I'm very happy. I took my Rail 7 for the first single track experience of my life this past weekend, mostly been a road/gravel rider. The bike performed great! It even corrected some of my riding mistakes. I will get better! The experienced rider who was showing me the ins & outs said that my Trek was ready for anything I could imagine doing. It's nice to hear that I made a good choice. Looking forward to some new adventures!

In my experience over about 6 years of dealing with three Trek stores and its on-line options, the service has been very good to excellent, with one exception of a Trek store that's now closed, and to which I would not have returned. Most of the staffers are knowledgeable, professional, and good at focusing on the best options for my particular wants and needs. Trek mechanics are some of the best, so I have both my Trek and my Specialized maintained and repaired by them. Servicing times can occasionally be slow, but even when that department gets backed up (understandably as the industry contracts and options shrink), the quality of the work has yet to drop. Generally, everyone at Trek has been helpful and generous in sharing knowledge without talking down to me.
