I have been a runner and Fleet Feet shopper for a very long time. I had to take a break from running during a very challenging period in my life, in which I also gained a lot of weight. I was trying to buy my first pair of running shoes in awhile and felt like I was treated with a level of hostility I have never felt before. Just because I don’t look like your typical runner doesn’t mean I am deserving of less courtesy and respect. I ended up with pair of shoes that frankly don’t even fit that well because I was so desperate to end my interaction. Next time I will just order from Zappos.
The service. The staff is very knowledgeable and polite.

I appreciate that all the sales people are athletes or active individuals. They are clearly well trained and informed about the products available in the store. I always feel that the person who is helping me is knowledgeable, as well as friendly and helpful.

As runners, we don't have a lot of options finding specific items for our sport. Fleet Feet is been the store to go to find those items like running shoes. But lately, prices are really high and put a lot of stress on us buyers.
When no other store in the mall had knowledgeable personnel, Fleet Feet did. They helped me with the best shoe and fit for my feet. Very satisfied customer!

Buying new running shoes should be fun and not a chore. This store made it a chore. They couldn’t find more than 3 shoes in what they maintained was my size although I commented the shoes seemed too big. My feet are average and I wear the most common size for women. I tried on shoes a full size larger than my own as they suggested but these slipped off my feet while running. When I asked to try on something smaller, they couldn’t seem to find more than 3 pairs and offered to have me buy a pair in advance that they would have to order directly from the manufacturer. The whole thing seemed unnecessarily complicated and over involved. I walked out without a new pair and was made to feel like I was a problem customer when I wouldn’t commit to buying shoes I had never tried on or buying a shoe that simply didn’t fit.
As soon as I walked in someone said hello and offered to help. I also had a great discussion of all things running shoes with one of your people.
