We have bought 2 motorhome from you in 2025 starting in June.
We have held off on any surveys because we were trying to have a good review.
But unfortunately the results have been very disappointing. And will be a good review.
1st coach Jayco
When we found one in Florida and decided to fly down and pick up, our first question to salesman CJ in Mesa was is there any water damage. We were told that your company does not trade in any thing with water damage.
The Jayco was a problem from the start. We went to Florida to pickup in Fort Pierce.
service department was an interesting while we were waiting for the little things to be assessed there was 2 customers that came in complaining.
We just thought maybe an isolated situation. But now we know they were telling the truth. It’s not a few it’s many!
If they did the inspections of the coach that your company claim to do, your company missed so much. Our trip home was a nightmare, one of the things we found was a very large pocket of water in the back wall. Even the plumbing under the sink in the kitchen started spraying water everywhere. Because it was not put together correctly. I can go on for a very long time.
We take into Mesa once we got home and what a nightmare. They had the coach for two weeks with very little information and communication about what the plan was to repair it. We were promised communication about everything we received one call. With no answers about what was going on.
We made a surprise visit to find out what was going on and talked with James Harper. Told him how unprofessional the service department is. Eric should not be the service manager!
If we didn’t do this we feel like we would never got the truth about the extent of the mold and water damage. Which we were told there was no water damage, before we bought the unit. Once again giving them the benefit of the doubt again.
Finally picked it up for a small camping trip and we were half way home and same problems again. Called Eric but of course no answer. So called James and he had Eric call me back. Sent up mechanic to try and fix it and replace something that should have been done at the dealership while it sat there.
We thought it was handled we left to go on a month long trip and same problems again.
3rd dealership visit in Draper Utah
Sat in waiting room all day, when they brought the coach to us the main mechanic that had worked on it all day said he thought he had it fixed. Went to pull out and the same problem again. They took photos and made notes about what happened.
Took coach down once again and this is when Jessie came into picture. Explained to him about everything and he proceeded to inform us that your company had already spent to much money on this coach. Which at that point l told him that was not our problem! We were lied to about the unit. And had 3 trips that were nightmares.
they told us they had no information about Utah and the stuff Utah ordered couldn’t be sent to them.
Once again excuses and no explanation of a plan.
After a few weeks of no communication we decided that we needed to send a email to James Harper and Mr Green.
Had meeting with James and we decided to trade that coach in it was a bad unit.
We lost a lot of Money on this.
There was not much to choose from so we bought a 2021 NewMar.
Thought things would be different but once again disappointment in a lot of things. Financing wwss a joke. Had to redo paperwork several times.
The NewMar had trouble with the batteries when we looked at it before buying. But unfortunately we were looking at it with a salesperson who did not care to really help because James asked him to. He said he would tell James about the batteries and of course it was not followed through with.
So did walk though and a few things needed to be addressed.
And this all took a long time to get thing’s put together. While we were waiting on this the batteries went down and could not get the battery to power up. Sent someone out and changed out chassis battery. This didn’t fix the problem.
We are staying at our son’s place so it’s hard to pack everything up. But we did and they replaced the jacks and batteries. Still nothing from walk through on the list. And they knew what needed to be ordered but once again not done.
2nd trip back to dealership after we had sent Eric the piece that needed to be replaced from what l read on line. This was 5 weeks before our appointment. Get there and spent 6 hours and was told they needed to get the piece that we talked about 5 weeks ago. So once again excuse’s and pass the buck. Jessie talk to Jay and told him that he needed to order the item to fix it. Jay showed him the texted that he sent Eric about it.
So now we are getting no responses from Eric or Jessie which we were told he would have Heather call on Wednesday. No call so sent email to Jessie and no reply. So here we are!
This service department is a total disaster.!!
After calling the corporate office and complaining about what has happened we finally got a call back.
After repairs are finished we are also finished with this company!
The lady that helped me was kind and very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for.

The check in went great and so did the walkthrough, we found that very helpful. We had some additional things done to the unit while we were there which prolonged our time there but all in all it was a good day. We found that Lisa and Zach both did a great job of keeping us updated on progress and how things were going in the shop and that helped a lot.
So far we are pleased with General RV as a whole and we certainly hope that our confidence in them and their ability to continue to work with us in the future continues.
Easy to make a service appointment. I didn’t like that they told us they would not be able to recharge the Freon in our A/C unit if that was the problem. They should have told us about this limitation when we were making the appointment specifically to get the A/C fixed.

Cheyenne did a great job as our sales associate. She was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. Jim was great to work with during the financing process. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with Cheyenne and Jim. Dawson was very helpful while having repairs done. We would have liked better communication regarding delivery day and during the repair process that occurred afterwards.
